This is a brief trip report regarding my time at the Disney parks in the past week. We were there from November 2 to November 5. I will only be describing my time at Disney and if you want to know about our hotel or Universal studios, you can check that out on Universal trip report board.

Both me and my sister went. She had knee surgery in July and has been going to rehabilation for her knee.

I also got to see a friend that I got to know while I was a CM years ago so it was a good trip. I have both good and bad things to say about the parks especially in this time of COVID

We went Monday to Hollywood Studios. We wanted to try to reride the Rise of the Resistance and try to be pilots on Smuggler's run. We were there early and were not able to secure a virtual place for Rise of the Resistance. This was the day before they changed the system. Somewhat deflating when you hear other guests cheer they got it but we got to ride it once before. We went to Smuggler's run first and walked on. Being pilot is much tougher than it looks. I really like the lightspeed lever. We then walked around and went on midway mania. We also did some shopping. There was a very long line to get into the Black Spire market. Very long. People kept coming to the front to see what it was.. "oh there's a line." There was also lines to get into the small shops. We went to Docking bay 7 to get lunch. I got the Endorian Chicken salad which was really really good as well as my Batuu Bon my favorite dessert. I saw Rey and some stormtroopers. But I greatly miss the citizens of Hollywood and felt they added so much to the park. We left around three and returned to our hotel. We felt that this park was very crowded. I knew it would be because of the new rides. It wasn't the best experience I've had at Hollywood Studios but it got better at other parks. It was really hard to remain socially distant from others and there were lines everywhere.

Epcot Day!!!

I have a warm place in my heart for this park. We slept in and got to the park around noon. We went over for bbq at the Regal Eagle. Also stopped and chatted with the bartender and purchased a frozen non alcoholic Arnold Palmer. Both that and meal were really good. The Regal Eagle is staying our favorite. Went to the Japan pavilion and shopped and took the boat back to Future world. We did nemo, soaring and Living with the land. All of these were walk on. At this point my sister was having problem with her knees. We went and rented a scooter. The cms were great and made it painless processes. We went back to world showcase and hit the AP pop up shop. I was slightly disappointed in the merch available but did get a small Minnie makeup bag. We decided to walk slowly and see the new Canada movie.

We ran into a character caravan. Loved Mickey blowing kisses to the group of girls following them. So cute.

We saw the Canada movie and really loved it. Loved the use of old and new footage.

Went to Rose and Crown. Huge portions and really good. We left after that. An dear friend iwas in town so I went togo visit.

Next post: Animal Kingdom

Thanks for taking the time to report. Following along and looking forward to reading more.

Hi this is my final park post. I want to apologize for the wait. But RL has been up in the air since I've been returned.

Our final Disney park day we went to animal Kingdom. I wanted to visit and we both wanted to try to get on Flight of passage. We spent the day with a friend of mine. We were able to do FOP twice. The line was short but not walk on. This is an incredible ride. I didn't expect to be blown away and I was. Totally worth all the hype.

We also visited a lot of the animal areas. We went back on the train to the Affection station due in fact to watching the program on Disney +. While not at the time allowed into the petting area. The keepers were out and talking to us about the animals in the area. I was struck by their passion for these animals. They discussed how the animals in that area missed the guests especially the pigs who like their bellies rubbed. I am glad to hear that they have reopened the area. The keepers wanted to make sure that the animals get what they need. We walked around and rode other rides like the Safari and Everest and just had a really good day.

I will have another post describing our time at Disney springs.

Hi this is my post on Disney Springs. Both time parked in the garage. One floor was reserved for the people taking the temperatures. We actually saw one group being turned around because a member didn't have their mask period. They were informed they could purchase one in the vending machine and weren't allowed in until they did so. We went and did some shopping over several nights We went to Homecoming, Earl of Sandwich and Marie and Enzo's Hideway spread out over several nights.

The stores could be crowded and it could be hard to socially distant from others at times. Depending on when you were there When it got to crowded we left. Also there were too many people standing around in the small stores talking not shopping. If you want to chat go outside the store.

The hideaway was the revelation. I was the one who wanted to try this. I got the chicken Saltimbocco which was so good. Chicken cooked to perfection. My sister had an eggplant parmesian according to her the best eggplant parm she has ever had. The service was excellent. We ate a large booth and it felt so private and safe. The waiter was wonderful and we got to talk to the manager afterwards who helped us wrap up our leftovers. Plus we got a great ap discount worth every cent.

All in all a fine trip. I don't think I will go back to studios for awhile. Too crowded and to much to go. Plus some of my star wars stuff was Disney Springs easier to get to. Epcot is still my favorite but the construction can be a bit much. Disney was missing something for me and I can't pinpoint what it was
