do you think a new email and changing my husband from "mike" to "michael" will help? I have a reservation already made in my name. I used the public 35% discount in March, but we have 4 rooms and another 5% on 4 rooms would be significant. I don't want to have a problem changing my reservation (my name) with a code in his name. I booked a gathering with my sister's family and my parents.

I think it will help...you can also just make a couple of new hotmail accounts with different variations...make sure that before you log in to the disney website, clear your cookies!

OK...did that today! Created another email addy couple days ago, and within 24 hours, my current reservation was already attached to it! Also, signed my DH up for disney account, and our reservation is already attached to his email! UGH!

So, today, I cleared my cookies (or whatever you call it!) and created yet another email acct....

Soem people report getting the codes within 24 hours...It could take a day or two...make sure to check the spam or the junk folder, too! I did this several days ago and got codes! (and I have done it before using other techniques described on the DIS) GL

Could help. From what I've seen it seems that Disney connects them based on the name and birthdate, so if the name is different, Disney might not connect that account to your other accounts. Worth a try

Me too. I set up a second account with a different address but only the account that I've been using since I went to Disney in 2006 got a pin

We are planning a trip end of August/early Sept. to use the free dining promo. We are a family of 6, but our #6 is only 2; so we can still stay in the deluxes that we love! My question is - is it at all possible to use some kind of code or get a room discount along with the fd plan? If so we could possible stay in one of the villas which would suit our family much better space wise.

Also, can you book at Swan & Dolphin and get the free dining promo? Forgive me if these questions have been asked a ton of times! I just don't want to overlook any possible savings for this trip. The extra space would be great, but we are celebrating an anniversary so we don't want to give up the deluxe accomadations. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!:

No you cannot stack discounts. It would be room discount or free dining, not both.

You never know what will make Disney kick out a code...I have received them over the past 3 years in various email accounts...some have been updated ont he website, some have not, some new and some old...it is just another (not guaranteed way) of making your chances more likely in getting a code! It worked!!! It worked!!! For the first time ever, I got an email pin code for 40% off our room rate! I followed the recommendations from the first post on this thread...and up popped an email with the pin code within a few days! Thanks so much! We were able to add an extra night onto our current reservation for only $90.00 more!!!!

I am sorry, I followed the directions exactly as were listed at the first of this email. I set up a new email account and got the code 5 days later at 12:49pm

In your internet browser, click on "tools" and then click on "delete borwing history"...a menu pops up, and check the box next to clear cookies....HTH

Thanks! I did it and opened a new hotmail and creatted a new account under my hubbie's name. Fingers & toes are crossed, I have never received a PIN before, been NUMEROUS times and it really ANNOYS me!!!
