I tried it, and received the white rabbit pin code within 48 hours.
As described, I used an e-mail address not on file with Disney. In our case it was a g-mail address that I use when I don’t want to give out our primary e-mail address.

A note to those using g-mail, check your spam filter. The pin code e-mail from Disney was identified by g-mail as spam in our account. On our g-mail page I had to click on the “more” link on the left which then allowed the spam link to display.

I would also like to say thank you to “Syndrone” for starting the thread and everyone else who replied. 40% is a significant discount on a Deluxe.
We are planning to go in November. I was going to make our dinning reservations in May at the 180 day mark, and then make hotel reservations later when November discounts came out. Now I’ll be able to make hotel reservations now, and make dinning reservations at the 180+10 mark. Plus, I’m not sure we’ll be able to beat a 40% discount anytime between now and November.

I just reactivated all 4 acocunts on the disney website! Hoping for a code!!!! Praying for a code!

So, does the 20/30/40 pin work for only the room? I put in an online ressie just to see how much just the room was and that 20% doesnt save much with just room, but with tickets that makes a big diffrence.

Just tried... so keeping my fingers cross that we get the pin.

We got the pin 20/30/40 but it was still too expensive to stay at the Poly for 4 nights was still 1400

But it did work and took about 2 days to be in my inbox.

what are the dates the pin codes are good for? We are planning to stay at the end of July. I created a new account yesterday and will be doing a new one today. I really want a pin. We could either stay another day or save the extra 15% of WL.

It is 40 % off of the room, and the dates extend through to December 12th or 16th think. ( For sure December )

Value and mods are 30% off.
Deluxe is 40% off !!! For the general public !!!
No need to wait for a pine code if you are going between 8/15/10-10/2/10 now !!!

If you have more than one room, under the same reservation, you can apply it to multiple rooms, but they all have to be under the same name as the person who got the PIN...

We have 2 rooms at the Yacht Club for July and I bought AP's, so we got the AP rate for both rooms...Now I am looking for either AP rates for our November trip, or a pin code!

Did this yesterday. No email yet, but.....

When I logged into disney.com with my NEW email address, my reservations that are made under my OLD email address showed up. Looks like they automatically merged the info.

I'll keep checking the new email addy for my pin, but I'm doubtful it's going to work....

Congrats to you on your pin. I, too, have waited YEARS for a pin. We have been there 20 times in 20 years, always booked on line the last ten trips, no pin. The last few weeks I have been dabbling on line with various reservation and BOOM- I get two pin codes in two weeks. Both were sent to my email address but listed my daughter's first name as the family name. The address and info is correct but the last name is her FIRST NAME. How frustrated I am. I emailed Disney to explain the mistake but have received no answer.

Anyway, just needed to share that with someone!

I opened a new yahoo email account and was waiting patiently for a pin code. Then the free dining came out and I booked. I just got an email in the NEW yahoo account welcoming me to POP and it said to be sure to book dining reservations because I had the dining plan.

I actually opened the yahoo account on a different computer so that the cookies would not be saved when I started my itinerary. I received my reservation confirmation at my regular email. Disney knows who I am and linked the two emails somehow.

Oh well...I still got free dining. OP thank you for helping. I guess YMMV.

I did this but I set up an account for my DH. First I set up a YAHOO e-mail account for him then set up an account of the WDW site. Then I went in and set up an itinerary and said that we weren't staying onsite and didn't have tickets. I checked "DH's" e-mail account a few hours later and nothing. Checked it the nex day...nothing. I forgot about it until yesterday and checked it and there was the magical pin code!!!

I forwarded it to our TA and asked her if the 30% could be applied to our reservation for November 20-23 (we're staying from November 20-27 so the pin would only cover the first 4 nights of our stay). She replied later that the discount was applied to our reservation. I saved $232.00 with the discount. It's not a huge discount but considering it's Thanksgiving week I'm just happy to have any kind of discount!!

how long between when you set up the itinerary and when you received the code? I set up my husbands yesterday and one for me on Monday and nothing yet.

For the first time ever, I finally got a pin code!

I had tried various things for a few weeks on new and existing accounts. This is what finally triggered:

1. New email address on gmail
2. Went in Saturday on my husband's work computer using Internet Explorer (pop-ups don't work on Chrome)
3. Made profile via Disneydestinations.com and itinerary (no accommodations, no tickets). Used our rental address and added a middle name.
4. Sunday night, I went into the profile (still on DH's computer) and added a favorite resort along with a new itinerary (w/accommodations, no tickets). I also saved a hotel that I had added to that itinerary. Then I deleted the hotel and the itinerary before logging off. I did not touch the account since then and got the 20/30/40 offer today at 11:37a.

This is what I received in the email:

1. Saturday, 5/1 Welcome email from Disneyparks right after creating the account.
2. Sunday, 5/2 More Magic Ahead/Video email from Destinations. This was *before* I added the hotel and deleted.
3. Wednesday, 5/5 Pin!
