I know it is sort of early to start thinking about school, but what if you could make school a better environment when you go back this year?

I couldn't get to sleep last night (like a lot of you) so I began to wonder what I could do at school to help make school a better place to be. Then I thought, most people don't like it when they are made fun of behind their back, even if they never hear anything about it. How about whenever you hear someone making fun of someone else, you make note of that, and find out some positive aspects that the person who was made fun of. You can find these out by talking to the person directly, talking to some of their friends, observations, or even calling the person. The key thing to remember is that you don't tell them who made fun of them, that we they don't become more bitter toward each other. Then you tell the person who made fun of that person, in private, the positive aspects of that person.

So is anyone else willing to do this? I am going to tell some people about while I'm on Missions Trip. Also, post any comments that you might have.

That's a very nice Idea :)

So you guys think its a good idea, but you aren't going to go out of your comfort zone to do something like this?

Good idea i'll try it.:)

i kind of do that anyway but i guess i'm just a nice person. One of my friends has a learning disability and my other friends are always telling me how they cant see how i can hang out w/ him. No matter how much i tell them how sweet he is, they dont get it. Some people are just shallow like that.

I do it most of the time!!

my good friend don't do stuff like that but my old friends do(I still talk to them sometime) and I will call them out on it and be like-hey! that's really mean...yall need to stop it!

b/c I'm a nice person and I think it's rude to make fun of people

I wouldn't have said it was a good idea, if I wasn't going to do it. Besides, my friend is in marching band (dubbed 'uncool' in our school) and when I was walking into CCD one night, two kids in front of me were making fun of her. I told them off for it, saying she did other things beside marching band, like soccer and softball, which were things both did (except instead of softball they play baseball).
