I'm trying to book my first trip to WDW, after a lot of researching. I have complex needs, I use a power wheelchair and service dog, and travel with a personal attendant. I saw the perfect room, even saw a video of one of the rooms, actually 2 rooms, at All-Star Sports. It was a fully accessible King room with an attached double bed room. As I travel with an attendant, I would need some space for her that is separate from me. I like/need my privacy when I settle at night and for sleeping, but need my attendant close by for night time emergencies/medical needs.
I have emailed/FB with to two different travel agents from two different companies that claim the specialize in Disney trips, but both say they have never heard of this type of room. I go to the WDW website and see them listed there.
What am I missing? Is it a pipe dream that these 2-room rooms exist? It will be really expensive to have to pay for 2 different rooms so I can take my dream vacation, maybe even too expensive.
Please help, I am feeling really discouraged about this, but finally have the means to go and strike-off a bucket list item. HELP???
