I requested either Magnolia Bend or Alligator Bayau 14, but I now see they have soem trundles in soem rooms. Are they hard to get? Cost more? I just booked the Fairytale deal. A trundle would be great for our littel one! Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, they only offer the trundle beds in the AB section and with the ftp they will most likely be in high demand as it's a popular option for those who need enough bed space for 5 in a room without having to pay the extra expense of staying in the deluxe catagory resorts.

You didn't mention how many you will have staying in your room, but if you need bed space for a 5th person, I'd definetly change my request for the AB section as Magnolia Bend doesn't offer the trundle option -- I don't think.

HTH's;)

Trundle bed costs an extra $15 Per night and is only available in AB section. My DS who is almost 13 said it was comfortable enough. It is basically a small matress on a rolling board that can be stored under the queen bed.:D

I have stayed in the AB in a room with a trundle bed, and was not charged the extra $15. I think if you have an extra adult they will charge you, but for a child I don't think they would. I was looking to change resorts for my upcoming stay and found those rooms available for my dates- thought they would have been sold out - so if you are interested, call back.

The trundle beds are only in AB and have been in every room I've ever stayed in in the AB section (which is alot) except the king bed rooms. The beds in the moderates are full size (not queen size). I believe you are only charged for it if there are 5 in your party, which makes it obvious that it needs to be used. My grandson has used it many times and we have never been charged because there is usually only 3 or 4 in the room. So if you NEED it, you need to ask to be in the AB section especially since this is the only moderate that has this feature.

We have stayed in the AB section and had trundle beds several times. We have never been charged extra for that.

hi

i booked POR for 7/16 - 2 adults, 2 juniors, 1 child

i was charged $15 per night x-tra for the trundle bed

Are any of the juniors 18 or over? Maybe they are starting to charge now for the extra bed.

I believe they DO charge for the trundle bed if it appears to them that it IS going to be used. We've never been charged because we have never had more than 4 in a room. Since Bratray shows that there will be 5 in the room, they are being charged for the use of the trundle bed because it's obvious that the child is going to use it (unless the child is under 3, then that would be a whole different story).

hi

this is the main reason we are staying at POR; for the fifth person

juniors are 15 & 16 and child is 4

when i first made my res the CM told me POR had room for 5 with a trundle bed and i had him hold my res for 24 hours to decide- then when i called back to reserve and pay the next day the price had changed by $105 when i questioned this he said the first CM didn't book me with a trundle bed ($15 per day) so make sure when you make your res that you have the rooms with trundle beds- only available at AB buildings

i just hope everything works out at POR i have just been hearing so many mixed reviews- but no matter, i plan on having a great time!!:bounce:

If you've got 5 people and they are all over 3, you will be charged for the trundle. The youngest can't be over 9 either or you're not eligible for those rooms.

We liked PO-R a lot, but feel our family has now outgrown the room.

I have heard it costs an extra 15 if you REQUEST one.

The trundle bed is small. It's probably best for kids under 10.

That's not necessarily true. We are booked there from 7-3 to 7-13 and my youngest is 11. We are getting the trundle bed with no problems. We are being charged the $15, but that's ok...it's still cheaper than a deluxe or 2 rooms!!
