I know the season premier is in the Summer but does anyone have the exact date?!?!? I am so afraid I am going to miss it

It will probably be in June. I think that's when it was the last two times.

If you are planning a trip, plan it around the season premiere! ;)

I've been reading every little spoiler (which isn't much!) that I can find about the new season since they have been filming it since November.

Where are there spoilers? I can't wait for the new season!

I am soooooooooo addicted to True Blood, I have been rewatching ( is that a word) the last three seasons looking for clues. Looking back at season one, after seeing season three, it has taken on a whole new dimension.
Can't wait till June to see Eric:lovestruc

I love True Blood, too! :yay: Everything I have seen on the internet says June 12 for the premiere.

I don't know exactly when, but I know it is in June. I should really keep up with that better.

I saw the first episode and it seemed like vampire porn, weirded me out and I never tried it again. Is there a good story in there eventually? if so maybe I'll try it again on netflix

Here's our Official True Blood thread, you might want to go back and read along with what we were saying about each episode as you watch. popcorn:: :happytv: :goodvibes

It's hard to guess with HBO. Yes, two years out of three they presented the season premiere on the second Sunday of June, but the precise date this year will really depend more so on when Game of Thrones ends. It's 10 episodes, and unless they're counting the preview, that'll mean that the season finale will be June 10, the second Sunday, leading me to believe that True Blood will return the week after that. (It surely doesn't need the lead-in! :))

No, you watch it FOR the vampire porn. There was a great scene of vampire Eric nude.

I am in no way a vampire genre fan. Too bloody, too gory, too many dead/undead people. This fantasy genre where anything goes seems lame to me. I prefer Sci-fi, where things have to make scientific sense in order to happen. But vampire Bill "glamoured" me into watching the show, as I was flipping channels. I knew he was a vampire, but I couldn't look away or change channels.

This show has some of the hottest guys on TV.

. . . Oh, and yes, there is a great story in the show, too.

Its HBO, come on man, they had to get everyone sucked into it, ya know, but yeah there is a lot more to it than just the sex. If youre not sure, pick up one of the paperbacks and start reading, then you will want to see it.

As far as when the premier will be, last years was Sunday June 14th, so somewhere close to that, as long as were assuming HBO will do the same as the last 2 years, lol. Hope so.

I have been going to Target every couple days since the week after Christmas to use my Raincheck for Season 2 for $14.99, I am going to be super pissed if they never have it before my rain check is up..

LOL, I started watching first because I had read book 1..........so I tell hubby you have to watch with me, you will love this show. so we start with the first episode on demand so he can catch up and he is like this
and he says to me " what are you watching??" LOL
he thought I was into some kind of weird porn LOL, but now he is just as hooked and no it isn't all vamp sex.
there is lots more. give it a try!

The acting is terrible, the plots inconceivable, the gore gratuitous and laughable, the accents HORRIBLE...

BUT, like a train wreck, you just can't look away :lmao:. It's a guilty pleasure. DH and I have a mock drinking game we do while watching (we don't drink). Everytime someone says a very breathy "Sookie" (which comes out sounding like Sookuh) we toss back an imaginary shot.

LOL, my dh loves to get into his breathy Elvis voice saying "Sookie" during the show!! :rotfl:

OK guys, I'll take your word for it and give it another chance, I kept wondering if I was missing something every time I read about how popular the series is with fans. It's been added to my Netflix list :goodvibes

This is the only series ever that I actually by the blue rays so that I can keep Eric in his little box on my shelf.
