Trouble with DVC reservation - using banked points

Yesterday, I made a reservation inside of the 7-month window and wanted to use 2 banked points as part of a 70 point stay. The reservation clerk said I must use all of my 350 transferred in points first. I asked for the references from DVC's rules that required this. She said that it is just the way the computer is programed and they must do it that way. I asked for a manual transaction because I wanted the banked points used first. Now my account is on hold and I'm asked not to make any other reservations until this is straighten-out.

Point totals on the DVC website for my account are now wrong. No response from DVC yet.

If this does not get fixed, call and make a dummy reservation that you don't need with all or most of the transferred points. Then use your banked points for a reservation. Then cancel the dummy reservation.
I agree with you. There must be some computer issue going on here.

Contact the DVC Satisfaction Team @ dvcmembersatisfactionteam@disneyvacationclub.com and let them know what's going on. They have requested additional info on software issues such as this.

Agree with make a separate reservation that forces them to use the 2 banked points first in your planned stay then go back and make any additional days and link them if necessary.
