Trouble with Dining at Ressies 180 Days -Help

I am trying to use the My Disney app to book my dining reservations and although my resort reservation is linked I can't book dining reservations beyond 180 days. Is there a trick to make it work? The wait on the phone is 35 minutes to talk to someone and I'd rather do it online. Thanks.
