Trouble calling into DVC this morning...

I have been getting nothing but a busy signal all morning. Is there something going on today? First day to book something?

I am trying to call to get my dinner ressies for April, but not sure I can yet... I thought they were supposed to go to 6 months as of yesterday, but cannot recall...

Well, as it turns out, I cannot call the WDW -Dine number either...

Today is Oct. 27th. The day that the ADRs system changes from 90 to 180 days. The online system is down, the lines are overloaded and the system has crashed. A small hand full of folks got their ADRs, and the rest of us have been left in the dark. I feel bad for anyone calling MS today to book a resort reservation, because they are getting caught up in this mess. I need to book my March ADRs and my April/May ADRs and can't get anywhere. I've been trying since 5:45 AM and still nothing.

I think Disney is experiencing systems overload this morning. The 180-day window for making dining reservations opened today, so I suspect a lot of people (myself included) are trying to call the Dining Line and/or Member Services. Our trip is 125 days from today, so I sure we'll be able to get through to Disney and make some dining reservations before then. Or am I being too optimistic?

Yeah. I just got through to MS, and they said the ADR system is indeed down. My problem is I have a party of 10/11 (1 is an infant) that I need to try to get ressies for and afraid I won't be able to get them.

I was able to get thru to MS around 9:15 this morning, after getting a busy signal since 9:00. I was able to move my May reservation from VWL to BLT for Memorial Day weekend with no trouble - once they answered the phone!

The CM I spoke to said the dining and DVC systems are separate. So I'm pretty sure if you are calling for a resort reservation, you should be able to make that even with the dining system down. I could be wrong though.

I finally got to the booking screen online but now it can't retrieve my reservation (it could last night).

And when it did finally retrieve my reservation, I put in date/time info and got the "down for maintenance" message. Oh well, can't blame a girl for trying...

I got into the booking system for a minute online, but then it couldn't retrieve any dining times, said it was overloaded with too many requests. I just tried again, and no luck.

Everyone saw this coming. Why didn't they increase it gradually? Maybe today make it 120 days, wait a week, then 150, wait a week, then 180.

That said - my system pager's going nutty now too, so I feel their pain.

Me too. Now back to the brief message. I called MS too and was greeted with welcome home our dining system is not working, how can I help you?

I called and made our first DVC room reservation at 9AM with no problems. Luckily the rooms and ADRS are on different systems.

It's 4:10 EST and still busy on the DVC member number. I don't even need to make a reservation, I'm just looking at options for a trip in June.

Dining ressies are still down on the website, I haven't even tried calling back on the DVC number.

Was finally able to book my ressies. Got everything I wanted, thankfully. It could be that I was booking at 1:30 am this morning! At least for the ones I only had 7 people for, the ones I had 11 for, I had to wait and call them in this morning, but got all of those! I was very excited.

Boma night of arrival
Chef Mickeys at 5pm
Hoop Dee Doo Review- cat 2 5 pm show
Le Cellier Lunch
Ohana 5pm
Rose and Crown Pub - 7:40. (now lets hope we can get an outside seat for the fireworks!

Very excited I got all of them on the days we wanted them!
