Trouble Buying G+

Trying to add G+ for our upcoming trip and the system won't let me, because the parks are sold out those days. Anyone have this experience? I have a valid multi day ticket, and park reservations. Not AP.

UPDATED: WDW just told me that if any of day of the ticket shows no reservation ability, I am unable to buy G+ in advance for my whole trip. I "should" still be able to buy it day by day starting with my first day, they think. That's it. No other help available. I asked if it was a glitch and they said no, that's by design.

I have read about this in other threads. I don’t know if anyone has actually been tried to buy it day of yet or not. Others were told the same as you though.

Wow sorry. FWIW I was there over Thanksgiving. I didn't try to purchase G+ in advance and did it day by day. I had park reservations for parks that were sold out for that day and didn't have any problems buying G+ that morning or making LL reservations.
No guarantee I know with all the glitches and hope it is ok for you!

Could the difference be whether its a package or room only with tickets purchased separately? Just a thought, as I was able to add Genie+ for everyday (dates are sold out) recently, but I do have a package.

That's interesting - and it could be. I was able to add it today because there's at least a park (but not all) showing available now for all my dates as of today. Could be that if I had a Disney package the modification rules would have been different.

I am unable to buy genie+ for today. Don't know why. Our tickets are good and we have a park reservation. We have annual passes and are staying on property. The app doesn't give me the option to purchase. The website links me to the site to purchase tickets. Any ideas?

Not sure if you saw this, but another post said that a work around is to click one of the lighting lane times, and it will take you to the screen to purchase Genie+ (if you haven't already purchased).

Thanks! I ended up buying it just like that! But after Slinky Dog was gone for the day.

I was trying to buy it for the day I wanted to use it. Disney IT always does such a great job!
