Tropical Rainforest - Did you like it?

I did it on the Magic and got the 7 day pass for $50. It was very nice. Now, I only spent about 10-30 min. per day in there. Personaly, I wouldn't do it for just 1 day unless you are planning on spending alot of time in there. There are different rooms, but if you don't like heavy aroma therapy you can enjoy the heated tile seats, the mild sauna room and the aroma mist showers.

I was on the hurricane Jeanne shortend cruise and I bought the package for the entire week(what was left of it). I think I used it every day, a couple times one day, but if you do nothing else you have to use the mint shower. It is one of the mist showers, it is just to the left of the shower with the shampoo's and soaps. I had to as the cm at the desk a couple of times to check it out because there was no "mint" to it. After the second time they finally fixed it. I was about to ask for my money back because that was the main reason I bought the package. The mint shower is totally refreshing and gives you the cool mint sensation all over.

Be sure and try it.

It was very seldom what I considered crowded. Just a few times were all of the heated lounge chairs taken.

I highly recommend it.I am doing it again on our 7 night cruise. It is well worth it.DH did with me the first time, but this time around he is going to do the capsule. The rainforest is so relaxing.I am going to get the week pass for it this time around.Last time I just got the 4 day pass.I went in there every chance I got.

My DH bought me a 3 day pass ( was on a 4 night cruise). I went every day while my kids were napping! IT was LOVELY! My fave were the heated lounges and the mild sauna room! :-) Totallyl worth it and I will do it again on our next cruise!

Someone on another thread complained that people were being inconsiderate by using the loungers for 30 minutes at a time. Do any of you veteran Rainforest users have a comment about that?

I love the Tropical Rainforest as a place to relax for a short time every day. The hottest room is a bit too hot for me, though. Sometimes the tile lounge chairs were full, but most people did not stay in them for more than 10-20 minutes and I usually just did the saunas and showers until one was available.

Oh!!!!! I'm so excited, we are leaving in 3 days to head down to Port Canaveral. We'll be on the Magic for the Halloween cruise.

I love the Rainforest, last year the mist shower orange citrus scent which I loved, can't wait to try the mint.
I hope it still $50. a week, it's the best deal going a far as spa treatments go.

Next year we'll be on the Aug 20, repo cruise, I'll be able to enjoy 2 weeks of the Rainforest.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I used the loungers well over 30 minutes....I think for 2 hours once when I fell asleep in one! There was never anyone else in there though....I had 2 people in one of the saunas with me one day and one other person in one of the loungers another but there wasn't a line waiting for them or anything anytime I was in there!

Every time I went in there was hardly anyone in there.I think the most I ever saw in there was 2 other people.I never had a problem with getting a lounger let alone anything else in there.

We have never found the rainforest very crowded and have used it on every cruise. It is well worth the money.

Hi all: what is the rain forest room? Is it similar to steam room? I've been to several spas here in Vegas but none have anything like this.

Luckey,

The rainforest is kind of like a fancy sauna. The main room has these very large heated tile lounges around a fountain. There are 3 different aromatherapy heated rooms. 2 of these are pretty heavy and not very big, but you can not stay in them for very long. The third is very mild with again the heated tile seats. I always took a towel to sit on because it was way to hot to sit on.

Also, as mentioned there are the showers. Of course, a bathing is a must because the showers are out in the open. They do provide shampoo and stuff to use.

I never had any problem with it being too crowded. In fact, there were quite a few times that no one else was in it. I brought a book and enjoyed!!!

The only problem I had was that there was a group of about 5 who were very loud and didn't really understand the meaning of relaxation.
