Sorry if this has been posted...looks like it just formed today and is to be a Tropical Storm once it hits FL and crosses into the Gulf.

oh man, okay, thinking positive, it will be fine and no problems will be created because of this storm...a bit selfish on my part, we leave tuesday for WDW, but really I'd just like to see florida and the bahamas get a break this year.

Yes, you can. From the looks of the projected path, it looks like it's going to hit Broward county head on. I hate hurricane season.

The good news...it's still too early to really tell its path (yeah I know how can Tuesday be too early when it is supposed to get here Thursday/Friday, but it really is. I have read some stuff where it could end up more my way).

The bad news...this is just the beginning of the "busy" season. BLEAH.

One of our friends that lives in Boynton Beach took 2 or 3 sleeping pills (can't remember exactly) during one of last year's hurricanes. Apparently, his neighbor's fence was uprooted and it kept banging against the side of his house. He couldn't take all the noise, so he decided to sleep through it, his wife remained awake.

And here I was today thinking how much quieter it's been this year, compared to the same time frame last year.

I should have banished the thought!

Yes, great maps too, especially the addition of Skeetobite. But check out the discussion forum. They have some actual TV mets that post regularly as well as some very well informed amatuers.

DD's already asking when we're going to lose electricty. DOUBLE BLEAH!!

Ack, no I don't want it. It was good news for you! lol

During Jeanne my MIL took a valium and slept right through it and she was sleeping in a room that had a window on the east side of the house. Meanwhile, DH and I were running around sopping up water that was coming in the windows from the force of the wind (yes including her window, and she continued to Zzzzzzzzzzzz).

Bet, that is my favorite site as well!!!!

I'm wondering if I should top off tomorrow and buy some more water before the big rush (I have the rest of the stuff we need, lol). BLEAH
