Is there a night that they suggest you wear tropical clothes to dinner? When we were on the Norwegian they had a tropical night, it was fun, but I wished I had known in advance. I keep hearing resort casual, but I wondered if they had suggested themes for each night? Thanks..Melissa

Yes, on the night the Magic (Western Caribbean) docks in Cozumel. Mexicalifragelistic dinner (the spelling is wayyyyy off). It is a lot of fun! After dinner there is quite a dance party around the deck 9 Goofy pool area...

On the Eastern, tropical night is Tuesday evening after the day at St. Maarten. As the Western, a dance party on deck 9 after dinner.

The Tropicali/Mexicali nights are great fun! Everyone is very relaxed. Shorts can be worn to dinner. The characters are dressed for ocassion. The deck party is not to be missed. So much energy!

I "Wonder" if there is a tropical night on the Wonder? As much as we would LOVE to go on the Magic, since we are driving (due to having 6 kids, and airfare is like $300 each right now) we don't have enough time to get there and cruise for 7 days and get back.

I am trying to get us color coordinated for the pictures and thought it would be cute to do a tropical picture, with all of us in tropical shirts or something.

I don't believe there is a Tropical Night on the Wonder, only on the 7 nights Magic.

I have my "cruise" clothes and love to wear the bright colors while on the ship, except for formal night!!!!

Just relax and enjoy- it's always a party at the "Ship of Mouse"!

Just a suggestion for those fashion concious cuisers. Bring your own tropical wear for the 7 day cruise rather than buy it at the port that day. It was fun to watch at least 30-50 men all wearing the same tropical shirt at dinner that they bought in St. Maarten that day.

A suggestion: TDS has one or two mens shirts that I would call "tropical". These shirts would fit the theme beautifully.

Go flashy and splashy - it makes for some great "sightseeing" on the ship!

The bolder and brighter the better for me! I'd never wear this stuff back in the states but on the ship, hey, I'm a "wild child"!

Yea, I'm interested in that myself. At home I'm usually shorts and t-shirts all summer, this getting dressed every night is going to be a stretch for me as well. One night in shorts and tropical shirt will be nice!!!

I guess I will pick a night and make it my own tropical night only with dress pants instead of shorts. My oldest is horrified that he has to dress similar to his siblings. I have found that the best pictures are when we are all dressed in similar colors. He will get over it I am sure. Thanks for all the replies..Melissa
