Tron?

I guess we're going to go see it at the dollar movies this afternoon. Problem is, I really don't like most science fiction. The only science fiction I like are things like Warehouse 13, Firefly, and Eureka.

Am I going to be bored out of my skull? Has anyone else here seen it reluctantly and thought it was a lot better than you thought it would be?

I also like Eureka and Warehouse 13. We (me51, DH 54, DD23, SiL26) went to see it awhile back. It was different than any other movie I have been to see, and I liked it okay. They all seemed to really like it. I think I would have liked it better if it had been a dollar movie though!

Some things about it I liked better than others. Like I said, it was just different. Definitely worth a dollar though.

Don't worry about watching it for the plot...watch it for the incredible CGI and action sequences

I want to see Tron2 but wanted to rewatch Tron1 again before seeing Tron2. Tron1 was on last night. What a snooze fest. IMHO it was ridiculously stupid. I will watch Tron2 when it comes to Sat TV.

I saw it in IMAX 3D and enjoyed it! The effects are amazing and the film itself was a lot better than I thought it would be. I'd give it a 9 out of 10 stars. My girlfriend on the other hand is obsessed with it

I think I would have liked it more if I had paid a dollar instead of $10.50.

I am waiting for Netflix and I did see it on cable and have it set to record.

Had to be there when it came out to appreciate it ....

If you are not into Sci-Fi, I imagine you will hate it.

I was expecting to see more awesome graphics. I expect add more hi tech stuff. Tron was alright but it so old school.

I did like the movie.

Well, I pretty much hated it. lol The first part was ok, but once they went onto/into the grid...hated it. Now, I'd like to see what comes next (don't want to give away any spoilers).
