I don't get why people don't believe a site that has broken news multiple times. This is happening guys, get on the surfboard with Dfan and lets ride this wave.

A 15% success rate doesn't fit the label "news"....it's CM basement fanboy garbage with the occasional hit on the dartboard.

I don't think it will fit E/W on that side of tracks. Will likely have to go N/S. Then the space between it and tracks put the Tron Plaza. You then have entry/exit points at either end of Storybook Lane at SM and Train Station. They would have to do a pretty high end spiffy reno of the Speedway since it will greatly detract from it in it's current state. They may need to remove the SM gift shop etc to widen that area.

I rode the Paris SM in the '90's(I believe I was there during the park's 5th anniversary) and loved it. I knew SM at WDW wasn't as good and people weren't kidding. It's an underwhelming ride when comparing it to the Paris one and I've heard the DL one is better as well. Anyway my point is that it can use some love.

I'm all for a TRON coaster, I watched the Shanghai videos and it looks real fun. I'm pretty excited about all the changes coming to WDW.

Here's an opinion from me that's gonna SHOCK everyone:

Everyone is diving for the cheese in the trap...and ALOT of people are gonna be disappointed come this time next week...

Your goal is to get "something"...maybe 2 "something's" would be great...3 would be pie in the sky...

Realistic expectations...not "Martin says 12"...Martin needs a new hobby...

Blasphemous, Space Mountain in WDW is a classic. When they were making the original ones they wanted to make it for the whole family. It doesn't have to make you feel like your face is going come off. The Paris one just looks like a Rock n Rollercoaster ripoff.

Yeah...I don't see it there...

They're pretty resistant to putting guest areas outside the birm/tracks...and they'd have to redesign those paths that lead out behind the speedway to accommodate foot traffic...

And retention pond issues...cant push everything outside towards the service areas...

Just don't see it.

On top of speedway...I could see it.

I have to admit...I love space mountain in Paris and the Jules Verne concept as a whole.

It's very "vekoma" esque (rockinrollercoaster)...but it works.

If they wanted to doze the Orlando space and build something like Paris...sign me up. (They won't though)...

YES, have said for years. Had hopes when Astro was getting some good color. PLEASE if they can't pull off a real Tomorrowland, which they haven't ... go steampunk!!

And the dozing of SM is being discussed on Reddit (I hear from DS, I stay away from that nuthouse).

Assuming by your math that TWO major announcements is the under, 3 is the best. I will take the over and say there will be at least 4 major announcements of adds(new rides or attractions). This does not include - SWE or TSL news, as this to me is old news. But anything related to EPCOT or MK is a win for me? Also GMR replacement would be for me?

space mountain had a major refurb in 2009 not 2012, i was wrong in the dates, but still it doesn't need another major refurb yet...

Definitely needs the refurb. Disneyland's version is much better. It's a much smoother ride experience.

Oh sure...no problem there...

Though what is a "major" announcement could be debatable...

I'll say on record it's gonna be the France ride and maybe some bad guardians thing...no new countries...and perhaps the great movie ride thing.

I see nothing for MK and nothing else for mgm or Epcot.

Like I said: I'll take net additions as a win.

And no hotel nonsense or new shops at springs. I don't consider what they're doing with dvc to be a gain...and I have dvc.

Yeah - I'm afraid that if they put the Tron coaster by SM, SM's demise is just a matter of time. I would MUCH rather it be re-imagined. That being said, its rather painful to ride. The left side doesn't seem as bad as the right side, but it's pretty jerky and rough.

It's more the restraints are awkward/inadequate by today's standard and there far too little clearance around the ride.

They'd NEVER design a ride like that now...there have been "incidents"...

And Even if something is grandfathered...eventually gramps still croaks.

Ok, I revised my overlay a bit - if you have the dome/open air part a bit over the WDW Railroad track and the edge of the speedway you could make it fi
