Tron AP preview thread

I’m very excited for my preview on the 10th! I have a pirate pass. I double checked the blockout dates. My friend did not and booked the 12th. It shows in the app and she got an email. I’m wondering if she’ll get denied entry at the gate 😅😅

I assume she will. It clearly stated you needed a valid AP. I was there on Feb 20th & people at the gate to MK were being denied entry cause it was a blockout date I heard the CM saying.

In bold print of the confirmation email it says (Kinda makes me think anytime between the park pass going out and the minute she’s due to ride her slot will be cancelled…)
  • A preview registration for a date that is blocked out for your Pass type(s) will be automatically cancelled.
Idk how she will enter the park without valid park admission because the first detail point in the confirmation email says
If IT screws up enough maybe she’s got a shot. It’s Disney so it could happen 😂 but the odds seem long…

Are any of you staying on property? I tried and they quoted me 980 a night for Pop.. as I'm looking off-site now
That doesn't sound right. For 3/4-3/6 the rack rate (no discounts) was $267/night (before taxes) for a standard room. $980 sounds like perhaps the price for 3 nights in a preferred room.

We had POFQ booked for $271/night for 3 nights but were able to switch today to use our DVC points at a split between OKW and SSR.

I agree with you with respect to Disney. Dolphin shows a rate of $1800 a night, standard no view room, when the hotel is sold out. Normally it's not even bookable. I suspect they might walk an existing guest if someone is willing to pay

That's crazy. It was showing me about $750/night for Dolphin last night when we looked.

What’s the protocol for previews going back to the “pool”?

Or will they? I’m assuming unless there’s a massive amount of cancellations Disney wouldn’t go through the hassle? I have been checking periodically to see if anything pops up but nothing so far (“event is full”).

They don't. Once it is closed - that is it. cancellations just are left empty.
