You should be able to book for all APs that are linked as your friends and family in MyDisneyExperience. However, only those with APs have been able to attend the previews in the past. With the AP preview, how many guests could you bring?
No guests. Only AP holders can attend AP previews. You can book multiple AP holders at once if you are linked. With the AP preview, how many guests could you bring?
If I am able to add guests with a DVC preview, do I have to attend? I would have the guest(s) linked in my account. You should be able to book for all APs that are linked as your friends and family in MyDisneyExperience. However, only those with APs have been able to attend the previews in the past.
DVC previews do not seem to have a consistent rule about guests.
You’ll probably have to be there to show your ID and the DVC-Y on your digital membership card. Your guests will enter with you.If I am able to add guests with a DVC preview, do I have to attend? I would have the guest(s) linked in my account.
Previews will also be available to CM, DVC and maybe D23.We, quite coincidentally, will be visiting at the end of March. Seems the Previews are only available to Annual Pass holders. Has anyone heard any rumors about the possibility of bringing back Annual Passes? Husband and I have been trying for the last 2 years with no luck![]()
No, Disney has been quite tight-lipped about it. Many, many people are wanting them back, so keep watching DISboards, because if they do come back, the news will be easy to find here!Has anyone heard any rumors about the possibility of bringing back Annual Passes?
And the way they talked about having a set limit on these, and only selling more once there was enough availability in the pool to make it worth putting them back on the market.... good chance they won't be up for sale long. No, Disney has been quite tight-lipped about it. I got pandora and guardians previews with unactivated passes. I ended up activating them the day I did the previews. It’ll probably be the same for thisSUPER niche question, but was anyone with an UNACTIVATED annual pass able to score rat or guardians AP previews?
I've been holding on to my unactivated pass for a while (went to disneyland instead haha) but now ready to go back to WDW, but wondering if I'll be able to get AP previews for Tron!![]()
No. In the recent news drops for Disney parks they mentioned Disneyland MagicKeys (APs) will be released for sale periodically as availability allows but they did not say anything about WDW releasing anymore APs.We, quite coincidentally, will be visiting at the end of March. The lawsuit is still ongoing so my guess is until they get closer to resolution they will not offer AP since that would expand the number of potential class members (with the theory that they allow those of us who have had continual AP before the suit was filed to renew since we are already members of the class and therefore, do not greatly increase the liability by allowing the renewal). From what I understand it was really only older AP holders that might be able to show a "claim", specifically those that had Platinum and Platinum Plus where Walt Disney World had marketed these as having "unlimited access". Most other passes had wording that allowed for park closures due to crowd levels Anything sold in the last year or so, has new Terms and Conditions are very explicit about the Park Reservation System. I would think you need to renew based on possible preview timeline. I am guessing the system is sophisticated enough to know you do not have valid passholder admission past 3/4/23 since it has stopped non-active passes or different tiered passes in the past. The park pass calendar also stops at pass expiration. The renewal voucher should already be active so I don't think you will have problems registering with that in your account. In a somewhat related but slightly different scenario . . . I am an out-of-state passholder with pass set to expire in March for my wife, myself and youngest child. We usually try to buy Disney gift cards with Kroger gas deals to re-up pass so as not to have to pay the $4000 total all at once and to cut off about 16% of the cost of the pass. I am still about $2000 short in the budget for them and was hoping to slowly get cards along the way to purchase the ongoing pass closer to the expiration time. I know we can re-up pass now (we are within the 60 day window) and can do so until 30 days after. Does anyone know if we choose to WAIT to re-up pass until after the preview dates are announced, will we NOT have the option to book the preview because our passes at time of booking will be expired at preview time? Our passes set to expire March 4th. Thanks!
