When Pleasure Island opened they had that 1/2 moon man as there "spokesperson" and we cannot think of his name! Driving us crazy. He was dressed up in some wacky sparkly suit and wore sun glasses? I can't be the only one remembering this guy.

I do remmember that character. I don't know if he had a name, but there was a huge neon light up version of him on the West End Stage, as far back as 1993. I looked through my old Birnbaum guides, and the last time they used this character in the book was 1991. I found the picture of him on the West End Stage in the 1993 Birnbaum book. Couldn't find him anywhere else. We go to WDW on a regular basis, but since they don't open Pleasure Island in the afternoon anymore, we have not been there in a little while. His body was actually a building, and was part of a row of buildings with a palm tree on either end, and he wore a bowtie. And there were musical notes in the ring that surrounded him, along with confetti.
