Hi Friends!
I want to bring my tripod along, because I'd like to take some really great night shots on our upcoming trip....I have one that collapses relatively small (about 4 inches diameter, maybe 12-18 inches long?), I was just wondering for those of you who have done this, what is the easiest way? Do they give you any trouble at the bag check and such? We usually carry a backpack with water bottles, so I imagine I'd just stow it there. I guess I am just a little worried about how cumbersome it would be....I guess the easiest thing might be not to bring it except for the times we don't head to the parks until the evening?
Thanks in advance!

My choice is to carry it all times, because I never know when I may want to use it. For example, I have used it to take a group photo with me in the photo using a remote control. Again, it is your style and choice as to whether how you want to carry a tripod.
