March 5-8
CSR

DS wakes us up at 7:20 am. Nothing cuter than hearing him move around and look up to see him peaking at us over the top of the pack-n-play! Time to start our day. We put Playhouse Disney while we shower and get ready. DS is carrying his shoes and saying "GO!" My DH thinks that I've trained him to do that! We walk past the Dig Site snapping pictures. We know with such a short trip, that we may not get a chance to swim because the evenings are too cold for that. But, the pool does look inviting and the temps are much warmer than the ones we left in Massachusetts! We walk to the Pepper Market and get breakfast to go. We sit at the outside tables by the lake. We enjoy our food, but the birds do not! We had to keep shooing them away from our son's. You know how messy toddlers can be! Those birds were all over us! We decide on the MK for the day. We have PS at Chef Mickey's at 5:15, so we decide to spend the whole day there and then just take the monorail over to the Contemporary. We run into the character charavan and who is there but DS's favorites Chip and Dale! We get some great pictures of him hugging them and touching their noses.

We arrive at the MK and decide to take the train around the park. DS enjoys this very much. We exit at Main Street and take a few photos and then walk up the street. DS sees the balloon man before we do and starts laughing and pointing. We tie one to the stroller. We still haven't figured out how to keep it out of our faces and other people's faces while we are walking! The balloon stayed in the room after today! We grab a fastpass for Buzz and then walk to Toon Town. We let DS explore the play area and Donald's boat. Unfotunately, due to the drought, the fountains were turned off. Not much to do on the boat without the water. We walk around a while and then grab some fruit. We are very lucky, our DS loves fruit and veggies. He'd rather eat my baked potato with broccoli than chicken nuggets. So, we load up on watermelon and bananas. We find a quiet shady spot to eat. Then, when our fastpass time begins, we grab another one for Pooh. Tip from this board! Then, we head back to Buzz and ride. DS had a blast. He squealed and laughed so much! When we got off, the expression on his face was priceless. He didn't know how to tell us how much fun he had had. He kept hugging us and laughing and clapping his hands! Magical Memory Moment for us! We go ono the TTA next. Always a relaxing ride. Then, we head over to Pooh. DS squeals and enjoys this too! By now it's approaching 1:30 and it's pretty hot. We decide to head back to CSR and enjoy some pool time. We run into Dale and other characters at the hub and get more pictures and squeals of delight from our DS. Then, we go to the Baby Care Center and run into Cinderella and Prince Charming!

We get on the bus and head back to CSR. When we get off, it has clouded over and gotten chilly. We decide to skip the pool and try to fit a nap in for DS. Well, after an hour of him playing peek-a-boo over the top of the pack-n-play, we decide to just head for our dinner at Chef Mickey's. We take the bus to MK and transfer to the monorail to the Contempory. Guess who falls alseep on the way! We get to Chef Mickey's and they let us take the stroller in since DS is sleeping. We miss out on the picture:(

We take turns hitting the buffet. We actually enjoy a quiet meal with excellent food while the baby sleeps. The characters come around and we get a picture of them posing with our sleeping DS and stroller. Minnie waves her hand at the surrounding tables to tell them to be quiet b/c he is sleeping! It's so funny how much they can communicate without talking! Can't believe that he's missed the entire meal! He wakes up as we are paying the bill and starts to scream! He is a bit startled. Normally, he almost never cries. He screams and screams until we can get a bottle of milk to him. He settles down but, when the characters come over, he cries more. We leave. Oh well, you have to be flexible. Don't count on your child always loving the characters. I knew that he needed that nap earlier!! We decide to head back to Epcot since MK and MGM would be closing in half an hour. We monorail over and hit the countries. We manage to see Mexico through Morocco and then catch a somewhat good seat for the 8:10 TOD. Excellent as always! A must see parade for us! Our DS has the TON cd and recognizes the music He starts to bop his head and swing his feet. We make it back to a crowded bus this time and back to the hotel. Same routine, Pepper Market for milk and then to the room for bed!

A fun day - sorry to hear DS slept through dinner - but you enjoyed your time together - thanks for posting!

That's too cute that minnie was keeping the restaurant peaceful for your son. :) It sounds like he got to see quite a bit of Chip and Dale.

sounds like a great day - how cute your son so excited! too bad he slept through dinner. what a great mini trip!

You guys are great parents! Our DS is 4 and we still have to be VERY flexible at WDW. It sounds like you still had a great time and you got to see TOD! He just needed his nappy!
