Today was our last full day and we were going to fit three parks into it!
We began the day by heading to the MK for our breakfast with Pooh and friends at Tony's. Our DS loves Eeyore, he calles him Oh-ee. We had a wonderful breakfast and the characters came around at least twice and gave our DS lots of attention. Pooh, Pigget, Oh-ee and Teeger were a hit! After filling up on food, we headed to Pooh for a fastpass. Then, we went on Buzz twice, shopped a bit at the Buzz cart, and had to drag our DS away! Then, we rode Pooh, got fast pass for Peter Pan and rode IASW. Then, we rode PP, headed to Aladdin's Carpet ride and got pictures with Donald and Mickey in front of the castle! Then we hit the Baby Station for a quick change. If you have little ones, these are a great place to stop for a few minutes. We love the one in the MK and in AK. Then, DH shopped a bit more in the Confectionary and we waited for the Ferry to take us to the TTC. We were headed to MGM to catch the Stars and Motor Car parade.
We entered MGM and headed straight for Playhouse Disney. We walked right into the next showing, good timing! Our DS had a blast dancing and singing with Bear. Then, we got a great spot for the parade. Once again, it was wonderful. Our DS kept standing up and clapping and pointing to the characters. After the parade, we walked around a bit and then noticed that our DS was sound asleep in the stroller. Unfortunately, the Buzz and Woody had that we had bought him earlier in the day had fallen off of his head. I know I had seen in on his head when I first noticed he had fallen asleep. It was only ten minutes later. We backtracked our steps, but we couldn't find it. We went to lost and found but didn't expect to find it. They gave us the # for Central Lost and Found to call the next day, but unfortunately, the hat was not found. Since I had only seen the Buzz and Woody hat outside the Buzz ride I knew we wouldn't be able to got back and get one. It was already after 5 pm and we weren't heading all the way back to MK. We checked the stores at MGM and none of them had the hat. DH kept telling me to not let it ruin the wonderful day we had just had. As we exited the park and headed to the ferry back to the YC, I ran to the vendor that was standing outside the entrance. There it was, the Buzz and Woody hat! I little pixie dust had been sprinkled and I bought the hat immediately. DS never even knew it was missing!
DS woke up on the ferry ride and we decided that we'd return to the room for a bit. We ordered room service for our DS while I packed us up for our trip home tomorrow morning. Then we walked back to, you guessed it, Epcot! DH and I grabbed hot dogs in America and then just circled the World Showcase. We grabbed our last popcorn, hot chocolate and cafe mocha and then said goodbye. It was such a magical vacation. We had a blend of marathon days mixed with relaxing days. I think that, along with the visits from our families, helped to make this a truly magical vacation.
