Today was going to be a quick visit with my Dad before he had to head back to Jacksonville. He stayed off-site because my parents have a 16 year old dog that they are not comfortable putting in a kennel or having someone they only recently met take care of her. So, I found a dog-friendly hotel, Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, where they both stayed the night.

Dad met us in the YC lobby around 9:30 and we headed to Goofy's Character Breakfast at the BC. Once again, the food was delicious and the character interaction was awesome! The characters really paid a lot of attention, not only to my two year old DS, but also to my Dad! It was so fun to see the characters through both of their eyes. After we were full, we hung out at the hotel until Dad had to get on the road. We took a few pictures with Dad in front of the tree and then said good bye.

We decided that since we had had a late night at Epcot that we would try to get an early nap in for our son. Once again, my DH stayed in the room while DS napped and I got to explore the YC/BC and Boardwalk area. After naps, we decided to head to MGM. We got there in time to get a great spot on Hollywood Blvd. for the Stars and Motorcars Parade. The parade was awesome! It had all of my little one's favorites in it! He was jumping up and down in his stroller when Buzz, Woody, Mike, Sulley and many others went by. Then, we headed to Playhouse Disney. We just made it into the next show. We were at the back on the floor, but by the aisle. If you get into the show, any of the aisle seats are awesome. We even got to talk to "Jamie" as he came down the aisles a few times and talked to us. We wanted to hit Al's Toy Barn to see if Buzz and Woody were around. We lucked out and got to see Buzz, Woody and Jesse. When it was our turn, my DS walked up to them and started pointing to his shoes. I thought he was showing them his fairly new sneakers, but then I realized that he wanted to see if they had "Andy" written on the bottom of their shoes. He tried to look at their feet then. It was a very cute moment and I couldn't believe that he remembered that from the movie! But, I guess when you watch the movie a million times, even a two year old can remember that!!

Since we hadn't eaten since breakfast, we started to look for somewhere to eat. We passed the Sci-Fi Drive In. The wait was only 10 minutes, so we decided to give it a try. I know it's had mixed reviews, but we stuck with burgers, a hot dog and milk shakes and it was all great! Our little one really enjoyed sitting in the car too! It kept him very entertained. After dinner we walked around a bit and then decided to call it an early night. We caught the boat back to the YC and visited the arcade again. I think my DH is becoming addicted to the baseball and boxing games!

So far it's been a pretty laid-back vacation. We've been to Disney so many times. It was actually our DS's 4 trip and he's only two. There were only a few things on my must-do list and we had already done three of them. My DH's parents are coming on Wednesday to visit, so I really wanted to make tomorrow a get things done day. We're headed to the MK!

How cute with the shoes and Buzz Woody and Jessie - sounds like a perfect day - thanks for posting!

We had a great time at SciFi and enjoyed the food. We had read bad reviews. I'm glad we gave it a try anyway:D
