Thanks SamSam!! I'm having a great day, and heading out shortly for a special dinner with my husband.
As for my training in July: I did do one short run in London, but I think all the walking I was doing in inadequate shoes created a few problems for me since my back felt awful. So I changed shoes and skipped running in Paris. I did my first post-vacation run today, and it went really well, so I think I'm back on track.
Miles and minutes:
Miles - 6.5
Minutes - 90
I will be heading to Maine on Saturday, but will have internet there so I'll be in touch. It's a relaxing vacation, so should have plenty of time for training (it's also an awesome place to run!).
I'm thinking of you Bryan, and hope that you are doing the best you can under the circumstances.

Here is my milage for the July 7-14 period. All I did was run. I have a few races coming up.
That's incredible.

but the equipment makes runners smell like roses.
The good thing is, I'm travelling a lot and don't get too exposed to the heat. But the bad thing is, I am not acclimated at all, so my workouts at home are suffering.
