What a great start team!!!!

By looking at the returns (Sounds political, doesn't it?) we are having a fantastic week for the Triple D's! To quote a song, "I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it!" (I guess that will show my age a little too, huh?

)
Erica Now, I am worried. I have met one of the ultimate movie buffs and I am wondering if I should tuck my tail in and run the other way?!?

Seriously though, I guess I will have to research and come up with some obscure quote that no one has ever heard of and with my luck, you will still know it. No worries! We are going to have fun! Great job on the miles and time.
Rich You Da Man!!!!

150+ miles the first week is incredible. I can't imagine what you are going to do for an encore. Bravo! Bravo!
Lisa I am going to take you up on help with the spreadsheet. I have something basic started but it isn't exactly what I want. I will send you a PM later today to see what we can do to make it better. I do appreciate all of the help I can get. (Lord knows I need it.)
Augie That was a good quote. I actually had to do a little research on that one as I had seen the movie only one time. To quote one of Liz's favorites, "Good call, my young Padawan!" I can tell al ready that we are going to have a great year!
Team Remember, that we all have different fitness levels and goals so our numbers will vary greatly because of that. No one needs to feel like a "slacker" just because their numbers don't measure up to someone elses. This is a team competition. We win or lose as a team. I know last year I was the worst one about wanting to be the top individual performer of all of the teams. Well, I didn't make it. I was ......... 2nd. (Like I said Rich, You Da Man!) That's why this year I have changed my approach. I am still going to put in as many miles as I can in both running and riding. That's the way I am. But I am not going to sweat being first or second. What I want is for the team to have a great year and for WISH to have a great year. That's my goals anyway!
As for me I belong to a 24 hour gym to which I have a key to be able to get into. Well, I went over there last night after I got off of my volunteer watch (I am a volunteer COP) and tried to get in but wasn't allowed access. I tried for about 5-6 minutes and it just wasn't allowing me in. I am going to go by again this afternoon and if it still doesn't allow me to get in, I will call the manager of the gym. I know where he lives and it isn't that far from the gym itself. So since I was unable to get over there last night, here are my totals.
Miles: 107
Hours: 12.5
It's a good week to start. I have to admit I was hoping for more since I will be in taper mode towards the end of next week for another Half on Sunday. I will make sure to post a race report about that one too.
Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!!!
