Does anyone have a parking pass they are done using, or won't be using? I would like to borrow this for July. I would need it by the 4th, and I could return it to you by July 20th. Thanks in advance.

This board no longer allows transfer of parking passes. To be honest, it's better to just park and hop on one of those shuttles that drops you off right at the front gate. We've never waited for a shuttle. The AAA parking passes still leave a bit of a walk. We've done both and actually prefer not to use the AAA pass and just hop on the shuttle instead -- especially after a full day of walking and all we want to do is get dropped off very near our car.

I'm not sure where you parked, but it's a lot more convenient with a double stroller on a tram. I know different offices have different passes. I didn't think they all had your name on them. And, I didn't think it would hurt to ask. Sorry if I offended anyone.

I never ride the tram with my double stroller either. It's to much work to get everyone/thing situated, just to take it apart. We walked last time and found we got there around the same time as the tram. Our last trip was a Make-a-Wish trip and at AK, they had us park in the AAA parking. That was wonderful! I would love to park there all the time.

While you're correct in thinking it doesn't hurt to ask, realize that it is a perk for AAA members only. Are you a member? If so, check with your local office. Some folks have had success in just asking for one (though it is normally an item available only for members who purchase a package or parts of a Disney vacation through AAA).

No offense taken here. Just letting you know the board rules. You can buy an unsigned one on ebay. I can see how it would be difficult with a double stroller.

Well... on a completely different note - i'd like to thank you guys for this thread cause - we went through AAA just for the parking pass (we are members) and i was starting to wonder if the parking was worth it. We have a DS 5 so we have a stroller for him and my father in law in a wheel chair cause he just had his hip replaced and not sure he'll be 100% by Sept. and we are driving down and staying at the fort.

We want to drive to the parks cause getting a stroller and wheelchair on trams or even the buses seems too difficult. thanks for letting me knwo that the AAA parking really is pretty close! i was wondering about that.

My double jog stroller is a nightmare for all tram riders, tram operators, and for the tram's paint job!!! HAHAHA. We like to walk it, too.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but does the AAA parking pass get you free parking, or just parking in a better spot?
We are looking to stay offsite for the first time and I am wondering if we should look into these passes?
Thanks for your help!
Sarah

Just closer parking - you still have to pay.

When we went in Feb my MiL joined us for a day in the parks. She had knee replacement surgery 2 months prior and was given a handicap mirror tag to use anytime she traveled with someone who didn't have plates. Anyhow, I would suggest that if your father is with you and has a mirror handicap hangtag you bring that. The H parking is closer than AAA and is available... sometimes the AAA parking can fill and then your just sent to the regular lots.

AAA has changed their parameters to get the pass. Now you have to book a package through them. Just being a member is not enough, nor is booking a room only.

Diamond parking is expecially good if you have a stroller. Keep in mind at MK you will still have to ride the boat or monorail to the park, but the parking itself is close to the hanicap area, and easier to get out of after the fireworks

Each AAA office has different criteria for getting a pass. At ours, you just have to buy a MYW ticket (sometimes I will use this as my base ticket and upgrade it to an AP). Other offices you have to buy the whole Disney package through them. A very few people have said they were able to get the pass at their office just by asking for it. YMMV!!!!

We have Virtual Triplets. Last time we went, all 3 were 1 1/2. As soon as we went into the lobby of the Resort to check in, the manager came up to us and warned us that our stroller would not possibly fit on the Disney Busses, Monorails, etc.

We came prepared, had a basket on the back of the Expedition to haul it around. :)

In the AAA offices in MA you just have to purchase a park ticket. The spots were next to the handicapped spots and were so worth it especially if you stay until park closing. You don't have to wait in the line for the tram. You can wheel the sleeping child right to the car and into their car seat. :goodvibes As others have stated, it does stay nontransferable right on the pass. Just a note, not all passes have a name on it. If you only purchase the ticket at AAA your name is not on it.

Last year I bought a pass on ebay and recieved the black & white pass. It worked, but I was nervous all week that it wouldn't.

Does anyone know if the black & white version is just as valid as the color pass? Thanks!
