We are leaving in the morning for my nearly three year old’s first trip! It’s been delayed nearly two years and we are so excited! We’re hoping to make trips every year or two while he’s young and I’d love to start some traditions. What fun little trip traditions does your family have?

There's really only one. On the first day we're at MK (or Disneyland Park) in the morning, we take a photo of the kids together standing in front of the castle. That's all.

Edit: All right, need to share more details. We call it the "MISSION PHOTO". 😃

have a picture on your phone of your child each morning with what they are wearing to park that day. change it if they change clothes at the park. not a tradition as such but sure is handy when needed and hope you do not need

Our biggest tradition is on our first evening to enjoy and stroll through Disney Springs. We like to graze thru the World of Disney to see what items might be fun to pick out later in the trip. We usually have an early dinner at Raglan Road. Afterward we will stop at Ghirardelli for a sundaes before heading to our resort for an early night.

We try to always take a pic of our boys with this statue. It isn’t the most recent one.

We have to eat at Pinocchio’s Village Haus every trip. I know it’s not everyone’s favorite, but it’s special to us.

Leave 2 pennies in Cinderella's Fountain, by the Castle. One from our birth years, and one from the current year.
And we always tried to ride every form of transprtation at least once. My late DH loved to ride the trolley up Main Street.

Have a GREAT trip.
