Trip to DL Paris is booked!

I'm counting on it! Although I heard Space Mountain will be down for repairs when I'm there :(

Have a great time. We really enjoyed it. The last day, after all of our travels, we were exhausted and decided to just sit on a bench on Main Street and people watch. It was fabulous.

You will love Space Mountain! Very Jules Verne! Great fast ride-my husband and I rode it two times in a row while our kids waited because of early entrance into the parks. It does break down but if you can plan your day, definately try to ride it. The head next to Buzz Lightyear (which also broke down-very fun listening to a French Buzz).

I heard SM at DLP is the best version of them all. However, it will be down for refurbishment during my visit :sad2:

I just booked out first trip to DLP too! We are going on the first week of July. I'm beyond excited! Have a fun trip and make sure to post pictures to make us all jealous!

Staying at the Disneyland Hotel was the right decision. The Cast Members are all amazing. I speak conversational French but they went out of their way by speaking English and Spanish to me to make my family and I feel even more welcome.

The rooms and facilities are amazing! Ours had a view of Fantasia Gardens and the Main entrance to Disneyland Park. Plus we were fairly close to the Main Gate, Inventions, the Main Lobby and the Hotel Boutique. :wizard:

Breakfast at Inventions was delicious. We are early risers, so we were some of the first people to eat, and always had a table with a view of the Castle.

Both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios are well themed, cool looking and only a few feet from the Hotel, so we got to park hop a lot with virtually no lines. Of course having Early Morning priviledges and VIP Fast Passes from the Hotel made a huge difference during our stay :cool1:

DREAMS! The show is amazing. I have no words to describe it, except it's someone everyone must experience at least once in a lifetime. It puts both Fantasmic and World of Color to shame.

LOWS

Smokers: They were everywhere... while waiting for parades and shows, in lines to get on rides, outside hotel and park gates... I mean... WOW! We even had to ask the CMs a few times to ask people standing in line next to us to put out their cigarretes. Some were with little kids themselves. :headache:

Space Mountain Mission 2 was down... I was so looking forward to riding this coaster, but alas it didn't happen. :confused3. I did get to try some escargot and other yummy French food at Plaza Inn though.

Over all I had a great time thanks everyone at the resort. Look forward to going to Disneyland for the Holidays now, and hopefully Tokyo Disneyland sometime in the near future.

That's great! Where will y'all be staying? You are going to love it. Make sure you catch Dreams! Get to the Hub one hour before the show begins (usually at closing time), sit right behind the safety line in front of the castle, and you'll get a premium front row view.

That's wonderful! Have a great time! Realize that DLP locals are not as respectful of their parks (more littering and trampling areas off limits) and smoking is prevalent everywhere, but it's still beautiful and well worth seeing.

It's different, but I LIKE different!;) Actually, guests at DLRP were very enthusiastic...young and old. Everyone seemed very excited...enjoyed every attraction and event to the fullest.:)

Great pics in the link they brought back memories. We were there in 2009 and are going back next year so thanks for getting excited about the trip.

Sorry SM was down it is a great ride. I had no idea about it before I went on and I was shocked and screaming but loved it. :rotfl2:

Thanks for sharing.

Sorry for the late reply here!

We stayed at Disney's Hotel Santa Fe. We would have a higher rated hotel but being in Europe for 3 weeks ate at our budget. We saw Disney Dreams twice, once to record it and once to just enjoy it (without the tired arm).

Was a fantastic time! Loved every minute of it.

Enjoying your TR. Hard to believe it's been 3 years since we were there.
