Thanks to frequent flyer miles and DVC, we've just book 9 nights at Aulani in June. 5 of us - parents 47, kids 18, 17 & 13.

We are going to give it as a Christmas present. We already have the pre-lit palm tree, leis, music & Aulani shirts figured out. But what other things can people suggest??? We're thinking books and such to help figure out the trip as a family. But also some fun "out of the box" things.

Love to hear from the creative & the experts!!! :santa:

Vouchers for activities like surfing lessons, snorkeling, submarine, kayak or similar?

Hula dancing lessons - DVD
Snorkel mask/fins
Chocolate covered macadamia nuts

There is a good a selection of Aulani merchandise for sale on ebay. We received a book about the Menehune as a gift for being one of the first 2500 families to make a reservation at the resort. It's a nice way to introduce your family to something that is a big part of the story of the resort. I don't think Disney sells these but I have also seen these on ebay. You could also give them a music cd by Keali'i Reichel. He composed and performed a lot of the music that is played at the resort.
