I went down to WDW Tuesday to meet some friends for dinner at Kouzinnas on the Boardwalk.
As I approached on 192 from the west, a few rain drops splattered on the windshield and a minute later, the skies let loose and it went to white-out conditions! By the time I parked at Boardwalk, it had stopped and I unloaded my scooter dealing only with puddles.
I headed around the building so as to avoid the non-ambulatory guest maze to the elevator that such have to use to get from the lobby down a floor to the actual boardwalk.
I was early so I stopped in at Wyland Gallery for a look around and fell in love with a turtle table set (50,000 for the set); and took the opportunity to do some shooting with the great sky lighting conditions due to the storm clouds.
About 6:15, headed over and joined my party at the restaurant, Kouzzina. We were a large party and were grandly escorted to a large table in the center of the place, directly in front of the open kitchen. I looked at the menu, but it was all Greek to me
After a fantastic, but rather pricey meal, we headed out and made our ways separately over to Jackies suite at Saratoga Springs and hit the pool. While the grups stood around chatting in the water, me and the kids hit the slide. This was a great slide- one of the best I have used. A quick switch back can nearly flip the most experienced rider. I used my new water bag for my camera and shot some video and after a couple of hours we all headed back to the suite and sat around chatting till midnight! Great day with great company!
