OKW 2 bedroom 12/21 - 12/26
Arrived at OKW 4:30Pm. Request was for non-smoking 3rd floor
It seemed as if the room had been assigned in advance, the CM offered me just what I wanted. I did tell him that I did not need to be near HH and to save that room for somone who wanted it .
We were in room 5430, over looking golf course. This will start a debate, but you could barely see the golf course with all the trees in the way. We did not spend a lot of time in the room , so no need to have them cut down the trees.
Room was clean, smoke free and in good shape.Light bulb in 2nd bedroom was out. Could not understand why last person did not call for a new bulb. They were up in a flash with a new bulb.
Now for the STRANGE. 2nd day left the room early and realized that I need something in the room, tried to go back in but my key would not work, none of the keys worked, oh well off to the parks and deal with it later..........Stoped by HH for new keys, tried again NO LUCK Tracked down a CM who called the front desk, ever wonder why they have a regular key under the electronic one, to let you in when it fails. The key card is powered by 2 batteries that do run out. Problem corrected total time for repair 30 minutes.
Everybody at OKW was friendly and very helpful. Great trip and happy DVC member
