A recent thread about someone losing their camera helped me remember another experience that I didn't put into the report:

I had a major scare myself, and felt a moment of horror. We were at the Magic Kingdom when my shoes came untied, so I hooked my camcorder bag to a hitching post in Frontierland and proceeded to tie my shoes. Of course, I left the camcorder bag there. I was lucky enough to realize it before we got past the Hall of Presidents, and a quick run back (I actually didn't even know where I had lost it) was fruitful because (1) no one had touched it, but also (2) because of the lime green ribbons tied all over it. I probably would have ran right past it if it weren't for those. Thanks to the DIS again!
