We managed to see Candelabration 3 times and thought it was great, a great addition for the 15th Anniversary and a fab end to a day in the park. We saw it once from the back, we stood along the way the characters walk onto the stage from the castle, and think it is worth standing here once as you get to see the characters arrive and leave and they wave and interact with the crowd. The disadvantage is that you only see the dancing from the rear, they don't turn around and if as with us it was the first time you have seen it you cannot quite work out what was going on.The 2nd and third time we saw it from the front, you really need to be there at 6.30 to be near the front. Difficult to get photos as they light the stage up and the lights shine in the camera.

We had a fabulous trip, I cannot think of one negative thing, we did so much I am sure I have missed loads out. I think I enjoyed this trip even more than the first time.We took 400 photos and loads of video.

Jo, thank you so much for sharing your trip with us, and I will remember your tip re candlabration as we never saw this last june and it's something i'd really like to see.

I love your photo!
I wrote something similar in my trippie about where to stand!!- We caught Candleabration only once- from the back and you're right we didn't have a clue what was going on on the stage!!

Thanks for the tip re Candlebration ... where abouts is this staged ? is it on the stage in the Central Plaza area (have not yet been to DLRP so these names are areas are a bit confusing atm) !!

Is there anywhere that is the best spot to stand ?

Hi

It is on a round stage in the middle of central plaza, it is obvious when you get there, it is raised quite high.If you want to see it from the front you will need to stand facing the castle, and will need to get there quite early as people start gathering to get a good spot. You will probably still have your view interupted by children on parents shoulders.
