Got up early after all this is our last day for the parks. We were going to organise a trip to Paris but we still have things to see (because of the crowds on Saturday, put us back a bit really!!). We will do our trip to Paris next time, possibly at Christmas. We are going back at Christmas and also will be going away as a whole family (including hubby - hooray in February!!) before the annual passports expire.

Can really notice in the hotel restaurant that it has gone a lot quieter now, today and yesterday morning.

Got the bus to the park, it is pouring down today!!! At the entrance the mice from Cinderella played nicely with all the children in the park and signed autographs and stopped for photos. Captain Hook seemed to be getting mobbed, so much so that a CM with him was telling people "Give Hook some more room please move back". If he had not said that I think poor old Hook would have been pinned up against the window.

Today its Discoveryworld, we did try this on Saturday but it was a joke really with all the queues. Got our fastpass tickets for Buzz Lightyear which already had a 30 minute wait. We decided to go to Star Tours, brilliant 5 minute wait. Thought this was brilliant and did not know first of all why we all needed seatbelts and why they kept on drumming in put everything underneath your seats and kept on mentioning the seatbelts, when it started, then I knew what the seatbelts were for. We got bashed about everywhere, we were on the back row (dont know if it was worse but I kept on sliding off my seat). It was really good though!!!! We then done Nauticals and Autopia. Then it was fast pass time for Buzz Lightyear. It was really good and surprisingly my little 3 year old boy got the most score ??? to my two girls horror their little brother beat them!!! After that they girls ran to Space Mountain. I told them that they could not go on it because they were too small and the CM measured them both, she said my 9 year old was tall enough but my 6 year old wasnt. My 9 year old was jumping for joy with excitement and the queue was only 5 minutes so we went through, oh god, I thought, what have I done. We met a lovely girl walking through who said her nan was waiting for her when she got off as she was riding on her own. She got in the back of our carriage and then we went round. She said it was not scary so my daughter and I were fine. Then she said when we were ready to shoot up the outside of the mountain "Its very scary, I think its the scariest ride". I nearly died on the spot. My daughter was screaming before we had even got off the ground and then it shot us into the mountain. WOW, it was brilliant, apart from the fact I bashed my head a couple of times on the thing that comes down to keep you in your seat. When I got off my daughter said that she had never been on anything so fast in all her life. It was really good and left me like jelly legs when I got off (dont normally go on rides like that really, I normally leave that to my husband, but unfortunately he was at home doing his last test to become a driving instructor).

When we got off the ride my 6 year olds face was a picture. You could tell she had been crying because she was not big enough to get on the ride. My 9 year old was really nice to her making her feel better, although she had thought the ride was brilliant, she said to her "You would not have liked it Lucy, I didnt it was too scary and now I feel sick, I would not like to go on it again". They then hugged each other and everything was Ok (Phew!!).
The two girls then proceeded to run to Orbitron. It was bouncing down by this time. My mum and I waited with Ben under the canopy of Autopia as the girls queued. It was 10 minutes later when we saw them on the ride. When they came off they were laughing at how much it was raining in their face as they went round and round. Their heads were drenched.

We then bought some yellow macs and decided to have some dinner. It was 2.00 pm. We went to a nice place, cannot remember the name, but it is opposite Disney & Co the store, I think it is called the Bakery or something it sells baguettes and cakes etc. We had the most gorgeous baguette ever, it was egg mayonnaise and tuna and lettuce (sounds strange) but it was actually the nicest thing I had ate all through the holiday. It was big as well and I enjoyed it that much I could have ate another one, but I didnt.

The girls then went to Disney & Co to spend even MORE money. They went with 100 euros each and today they had 90 euros. They had bought and bought and bought all through the holiday and we kept on giving more money to them and plus buying things for them too, I said to my mum, "I wish I had one of those magic purses that the money just does not seem to run out", you all know what I mean.

I was then getting worried how I was going to get all these things they had bought home, would they all fit in the suitcase. My son had got cars, fire engines with Mickey mouse in, they had stacks of stuff that we started to tell them to buy smaller items. They bought daddy, out of their own money, a lovely big Pirates of the Carribean cup, he would need a whole pot of tea in one cup to fill it.

Then we decided to stay on Main Street to watch the parade it was either that or wait in the queue to the Lion King show tickets. The girls wanted to see the princesses again so we stayed put. We had a brilliant spot, right at the end of Main Street by the bandstand, but where the road is cornered off by the rope. We were looking right down Main Street.

The show started, the girls were dancing like mad because I said "Make the most of it girls this is the last time you will see it"

We had a better view of Cinderella this time, sometimes it is quite difficult to get a good picture of her in the carriage. Then Sleeping Beauty and her Prince went passed and I could have cried......she waved straight at my girls. The look that they both gave me I will never forget. They were gobsmacked. Then it was Mary Poppins turn. She also looked at them and waved after the man with her pointed at the girls dancing. Then as if by magic, Belle done exactly the same. Come on Aladdin and Jasmine I thought, give us the whole set of characters looking at the girls, unfortunately they never. It was either because they were dancing in their yellow macs or we had a good view to be seen but they girls were ecstatis, especially Lucy,my younger daughter.

Then the characters came, Pinnochio came up to Lucy and brought his father with him. He gave Lucy a great big hug and his nose nearly poked her eyes out, she was laughing her head off. His dad got hold of her hand and kissed it gently and bowed to her. She said she felt like a princess and I did have tears in my eyes at this point.

We then ran to the other side of the rope which was behind us to watch the characters go through to the end of the parade and we were up to Jasmine again and fortunately there were a few gaps in the rope which the girls quickly got in.

Then to top it all off, Mickey and Minnie looked as though they were waving at them both and then they both blew them a kiss. The girls then I thought were going to faint, although you could not say where Mickey and Minnie were exactly looking (like you can with the princesses) they were thrilled. My eldest daughter Chloe said to Lucy that they were waving and blowing kisses because they knew they were going home.

We had a coffee to warm ourselves up and tried to sort ourselves out a bit for our last meal.

When we got to Disney Village we saw all the names in the wall, something my mum loved (are they the real deal the handprints of the stars??). My mum read every one.

We then went to the Disney store and the girls loved the themes of things flying around their heads, ie, Peter Pan, a whole window of Tinkerbell which I had to take a photo of, goofy hanging by one foot out of an aeroplane. Here they bought nanny a Minnie Mouse cup, a Tinkerbell keyring and a lovely snowglobe. Ben had been fast asleep and had missed the parade and everything. He was just stirring now. Its 6.00pm Cafe Mickey time.

We got to Cafe Mickeys 6.05 pm and after sorting all our bags out and putting the pram away we sat down at our table at 6.10 pm. The children still had their yellow macs on when Goofy came to our table. Lucy still has got her yellow rainmac on the photo with Goofy. Captain Hook came next and signed their books. I thought you are not getting away Captain Hook so I got my photo taken with him. He put his hook around my neck I have seen him do this before on other peoples photos and it is really good.

Then Pluto was next. My son loved him and kept on cuddling him because he was a REAL dog!!

Then the music started, Daisy got on a table by us and all the characters started to dance. All the staff stood in a line and were singing and dancing and doing mexican waves. All the customers were all clapping it was really good. Then Mr Smee took the lead in a conga around the restaurant. Only three boys got up, they tried to get more children up but everyone was saying no, including my youngest. My eldest daughter got up and then Mickey Mouse finished off and put his hands on her shoulders. We were mesmerised.

Mickey Mouse came to our table and had photos taken and also played with the girls plaits (the characters certainly like plaits in hair I think). Then the Stuff came to our table and gave my mum a whopping cuddle. Then Daisy Duck came along. She was tellling us what she liked best on the menu by pointing at it and rubbing her belly, the kids could not take their eyes off her. She then showered by son in kisses and kept on rubbing his head. She then cut out the glasses on the menu (with those big hands) and then put them on her face, she then put them on Ben and kissed them all and went to the next table.

Next came Mr Smee who took the fork and put the chicken nuggets on and fed Ben his tea. He also dipped it in the tomato sauce and put it all over the end of Bens nose. Ben laughed and did not wipe it off. Another character who loves plaits too when he had his photo taken with all of them. My mum loved him and she went in for a kiss, bad mistake, he would not leave her alone. Got a lovely picture of Minnie kissing all the children.

Mickey came back and Ben gave him a lollipop which he took and gave him a kiss, everyone was saying "Arrhh". Then Tigger came out and Ben would not stop cuddling him. Tigger kept on banging on his heart as though to say it was really nice. He then went to another table where a little girl was having a birthday cake. She had some lovely pictures taken with all the characters together, her face was a picture, I dont think she knew it was going to happen she looked so shocked. It was lovely.

When we left the queue was right outside the door and people did not look too happy at waiting (it would not be nice waiting to be seated and seeing all this character interraction going on, although they cannot see too much really).

My daughter then realised she had not seen Jack Sparrow unfortunately we cannot see everyone. So there is a picture shop just a little bit further down from Cafe Mickeys and she asked me to take two photographs of the portraits in the window of Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp, these paintings were amazing. We said goodbye to Disney and left on the shuttlebus back to the hotel.

At the hotel we packed our suitcase, somehow we got it all in, I dont know how!!! The children all had a lovely warm bath and were ready for bed. Early morning call booked for 5 am.

------------------------------

We were at reception for 6 am, we sorted out the keys and paid for our room. At this time the friendly chap from BS Transports had taken out suitcases and all the family were seatbelted it. When I got in the car he closed the door and we were off.

It was amazing really to see how much traffic was on the road at that time of the morning when we got nearer to the airport. We were at the airport in plently of time and checked in. Our flight was on time to Liverpool. We had a lovely return flight back to Liverpool. Today was another lovely day in Paris, it was in fact lovely all the way home.

When we got home my little boy said "Are we going to see Mickey Mouse in our hotel tomorrow" I said that we are going back to see him at Christmas and hopefully staying at the Disney Hotel, depending on the rooms probably as we will need 5 people.

There are so many highs I could not write them all down, the only lows were the crowds and queues on the Saturday (welsh festival day) and the animagique show, cannot say if it was the same thing that happened in the Lion King as was only told this from word of mouth from someone else.

We had a fandabi-tastic time in Disney and are planning our next trip already, will try and incorporate a day trip to Paris in that one though I think, if not will do Paris in February as I would love to see it, especially the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral.
