My goodness, I didn't know it could rain that hard in any other place than the UK. It just kept on raining from the moment we woke until the early evening.

This was good news in a way, as the Park was much quieter. I also suspect that more romantic souls than us had taken the chance to spend Valentines Day in Paris. I did have a nice card to open when I woke up - it was a hand made one from my daughter.

We had another early breakfast in Fantasyland and were ready to ride just after 9.35. Hurray - Peter Pan was running today so we went on 3 times in a row. We waited by the entrance to Adventureland for the rope drop and were among the first onto POTC. We liked our ride photo so much we bought 2 of those for 20 Euros.

We went over to Discoveryland to go on Buzz Lightyear - the first time for all of us, as it hadn't opened when we went last year. WE loved it! Went straight on again:cool1: Luckily it was still early so the queue was fast moving. My son and daughter went on Space Mountain while us oldies went on Star Tours. At this point my son confessed that he had put his old trainers on and they were leaking badly - so much that he wanted to go back and change into his other ones ( I hadn't noticed - one pair of scruffy teen trainers looks much like another to me!). While he did that we went and had a warm drink in the Cafe Hyperion and watched the The Legend of the Lion King. We decided to try another indoor show and went to see Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. By the time we came out my son had returned and had managed to go on Sapce Mountain and Star Tours - I guess you can tell by this how small the queues were that day. We all went on IASW and then went for lunch in Pizzeria Bella Notte. We were glad to have a meal that didn't involve chips! My son went off for more rides on Indiana, Space Mountain, Star Tours and a trip on the train, whilst we girlies went to look at the tapestries in the castle, a look (oh all right, and a purchase or two!) in the Castle shops, we stopped for a cuddle, photo and autograph with Baloo and Pluto, then went to Phantom Manor. Pinnochio was our next stop and then my sister was starting to flag, so she went to have a sit and a warm drink. My daughter and I went on POTC pirate: twice, round the Cabane Des Robinsons, on Snow White twice and back on IASW - and it still was only mid - afternoon! We met up with my son who took his sister onto BTM ( have you guessed by now that I don't do the fast rides? My sister has not been well recently and is not allowed to go on them) before he went off for yet more Indiana and Space Mountain rides. We girls did Pirates again, Snow White twice and then did a bit of shopping, as the Park was closing. It was a very wet day, but we felt like we got so many more rides because of that.

Now the bit we were all looking forward to - our 7.45 booking at Cafe Mickey.

That was....interesting. It's a bit long to explain here, so I'll put it on the restaurant review thread.

Finally, exhausted, full up, but jolly jolly happy, we walked back to the Santa Fe and were soon chcuking out ZZZZZZZZZZs.

Sounds like you made the best of the weather with the quieter parks :goodvibes
