Trip Report - Day 2

Early Entry was great! We went to MK and completely finished Fantasyland by 9 AM. Then we walked over to Tomorrowland and did Buzz, Space Mountain, Speedway and TTA by 10 AM. We were on a roll. We watched the Cinderella Surprise Celebration show in front of the castle and then got some autographs.

We ate an early lunch at Cosmic Rays and then walked around looking in some of the shops. The kids were really into the pin trading. I think they stopped almost every cast member they saw to look at their pins.

We took the monorail to Epcot and the some did Mission Space. They said it was awesome. Lots of movement though. I overheard some people saying they felt sick for a while after the ride. I stayed outside with the 4 y/o who was too small to ride.

We had PS for 3 PM at the Ice Cream Social at Garden Grill. It was cute. Mickey, Pluto and Chip and Dale came around to see the kids and the ice cream was good too.

After this we went back to the ASMovies. The kids were tired and getting antsy and on my nerves. So we went back for a little nap that turned into 2 1/2 hours for all of us. We just crashed.

After we woke up, we ate dinner at the food court and just relaxed the rest of the evening.

Aw, naps are good especially when having a great vacation. We always just mean to rest our eyes (as my grandmother would put it) for 30 minutes or so but we always sleep for 2 hours. Personally, I am ready to go and hit those rides more right after.

Just curious, as another trip report reports large crowds and was wondering if it was the same time, as you state MK was very manageable. We're going in October, and it looks like we'll have big crowds too, and am hoping that the parks will still be manageable!

I guess the FTP brought more people down for this time of year. It still wasn't as bad as the summer crowds, but many of the big attractions did have 40-45 minute waits. Thank God for early entry. Iwas there from 9/20-27
