Our cast included myself, DH, DS10 and DD&. We flew in to Orange County Airport from Houston on Christmas day and took a taxi to the Marriott Anaheim without any problems. Quite a line checking in, but room was great and on the concierge level. Grabbed Pizza Hut in the lobby and went to bed to hit DL next day. After breakfast in the concierge lounge, we caught th 7:20 shuttle to DL. Lines were long to get in, all the way back to the CALIFORNIA letters. We walked straight through to the early entry gates where they were letting ee people in. Right at 8am (Regular opening) they changed these gates to "entrance" and we walked right in, ahead of everyone. We used this trick on all days there was Early Entry.
Kids and I immediately went to Dumbo, and rode without a wait, while DH went to get 4 Space Mountain Fast Passes. We then all rode Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, Tea Cups, Snow White, Pinnochio and Alice without much wait. At this point our FP for Space Mountain was ready, so I ran over and got 4 FP's for Haunted Mansion (Indiana was being repaired). We then rode Matterhorn, Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain.
After this we headed to Haunted Mansion, but picked up Indiana Jones FP's first. (This took 20 minutes, as the ride had been down all morning)
We rode Pooh, did Haunted Mansion and walked around NOS until we could ride Indiana. Pirates line was already up to 60 minutes, so we saved that for next day.
Indiana was awesome, and we then headed back to Fantasy land. Park was so crowded at this point, we could not even get lunch. We did stop and see Santa, his reindeer and meet Chip and Dale. After this we rode Casey Jr,'s train and Dumbo again. Then waited 45 mionutes for Small World holiday. We saw the parade while we were waiting.
We met Cinderella, Suzy the Mouse,Prince Phillip and Belle. Park was crazy, so we headed back to the Marriott for Chicken and pasta in the concierge lounge. We were wiped out so called it a day. We probably would have gone back to the park had the crowds been less. Ready for a full day tomorrow!
