First of all, I am loving your report! The pics are fabulous - I never would have thought of taking pics after the park closed (but only have stayed til closing once at MK). btw this pic is awesome!

Loved the interaction with Chip & Dale and Sarah - how cute! You are a beautiful couple!

I loved your TR. Your pics are amazing, I must learn your secrets. Do you have a tripod or something that you use to get those night shots? I also don't think it hurts that the two of you are so photogenic. You remind me of Ryan Seacrest and Sarah is gorgeous!

Hi! Great trip report and even better pictures! Thanks for posting.

I was wondering, how did you manage two late nights (2AM and beyond) at MK in the same week? Did they offer two EMH evenings at the MK in the same 7 day period??

Yeah, EMH were offered on both August 15th (until 2 a.m.) and August 17th (until 3 a.m.).

Thanks--I use a tripod and a remote shutter release. Both are important for getting really crisp night shots.

As for the Ryan Seacrest comment, I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not...

What settings do you use to capture fireworks? The shot you posted is really crisp and colourful. Last time I went I had only just got my Canon 300 so was using it pretty much as a point n shoot. This time I am more comfortable with the myriad settings it offers.

Hey Grumpy,

Depends on the fireworks (usually 10-25 seconds and f/22-25). If you click on the Flickr link in my profile (I actually just added you as a contact on Flickr), you can see the settings of each individual picture by clicking "More Properties" in the bottom right hand corner of each picture. Hope that helps!

He was one of the "rare" characters out for additional entertainment during the SpectroMagic downtime. The CMs we talked to said they were shocked that he was out.
