Here's our cast~
Me 36 (disney nut and proud of it)
My Hubby Eric 35 (loves it more every time!)
My Son Hunter 6 (this trip was his first and his b-day surprise, he's now a disney nut~just like mommy!)
My Mom Sally 56 (her second trip, cant wait to go back)
My Brother Ron 28 (also second trip, first with his disney nut girlfriend!)
Lexi- Ron's girlfriend (major disney nut - we get along well~)
My Best Friend Dawn (first trip, Loves Donald Duck)
Dalton- Dawn's 7yr old son (dosent like dark rides!)
My Sis-In-Law Mary (First trip was sick most of the time)
My Mother In Law (first and LAST trip with us!)

Our trip started out great, we had a early morning flight everything went smooth and we were all excited!
I was a little concerned about using Disney's Magical Express from everything I had heard, but it was great! Fast and simply, not a problem down or back I would use it again in a heart beat!

We checked in at All Star Movies at 11am had our rooms by noon and was in MGM by 1:15 A great start!
It did rain, well storm :umbrella: in the afternoon so we checked with Mama Melrosa's about moving our 6pm PS up a little, no problem they sat us in 20 minutes and we had dinner and the storm was gone when we were done!

We did some shows, then was heading to ToT and my sis-in-law starts to get sick, so her and my MIL head back to the hotel, but not before my MIL informed me that my SIL was sick because of the heat!! Like I did it, I said "Ok its August and your in Florida its suppose to be hot"!
Well that was the begining of the end~ My MIL is and always was a pain, we asked her to go along because honestly we NEVER thought she would say yes! Trust me we will never make that mistake again!
Anyway ToT was awesome and my son loved it and the picture was priceless!
Then on to Fantasmic, AWESOME show dont miss it! then we headed back to the hotel to rest up for our day at epcot~

Tuesday Epcot
This park is a love or hate thing with my family, certain things for some and certain things for other so we all tried our best to "go with the flow" and make everyone happy~ Well except my MIL, cause nothing makes her happy!
anyway we all loved Soarin (yes even my MIL) and Turtle talk w/ crush was a big hit~
About mid-day my  SIL is sick again so once more we get the MIL speech "its hot, how far do we have to walk, its to hot, the lines to long" you get the picture so her and my SIL go back to the hotel once again saying they will meet us at Rose and Crown for dinner at 6pm. Fine whatever just go.... the rest of the day was fine UNTIL dinner, She (MIL) complained about everything! We had the dining plan so we had to hear 'its too much food, I dont understand it, blah blah blah she complains to hear herself I swear! :scratchin
So we all get set to take in Illuminations, and MIL and SIL say "its too hot, I dont feel good we are leaving" again whatever just go!
Illuminations was great as always, the group loved it! a great ending to a (mostly) great day!

Wednesday Animal Kingdom (SIL stayed behind today~ to HOT????? )
Started with Donalds Breakfasouras Good time and yummy, this was my sons birthday trip :bday: so we got him a button and he loved all the extra attention! Goofy is his fave and he had the goofy hat with ears, the pictures are just to cute!! this was a favorite meal of our's the food was yummy and hot and the charactors were great!
After breakfast we went to Dino Land, the kids loved it! Tarzan rocks was a good show, I had never seen it before. did the safarie, the dinosur ride, a bugs life and loved them all (well Dalton had a little problem with a bugs life the dark thing not his cup of tea :scared1: )
The only disappointment here was the rapids ride, too short and not thrilling  ! Nobody in the group liked it........oh wait maybe I did like it, my MIL rode it got soaked, pouted about getting wet and you guessed it, went back to the hotel!!!!!! big shock I know!!!! So off she went, thank goodness we rode it early! :rotfl:
Later that night we had Hoop De Doo so we went back to change met up with MIL and SIL and headed to Hoop De Doo~ We all LOVED it, what a cute show, the kids had a blast, and the adults all said they would go again!!! I am so glad we went~
Then it hit the fan MIL got mad caused I yelled at my son, the nerve of me to yell at MY kid! She then of course wouldnt let it go yack, yack, yack on and on. BUT I was not going to let her spoil my trip, so I let her go.....for awhile UNTIL for the 5th time in hour I heard "I would never come back here"! So I calmy turned to her and said "dont worry you wont be asked"! :rolleyes1 I got a "hump and a well I never"! and that was it no more MIL except at meal time the rest of the trip! Trust me I was thanked many, many, many times by the group! :rotfl2:

Thursday and friday Magic Kingdom ::MickeyMo
The kids (and mine) favorite park! :cloud9: We had many CM's tell Hunter Happy Birthday, one even had a hugh crowd sing Happy Birthday to him! I was in tears it was so special! Hunter is kinda on the shy side but let me tell ya he was "sucking up" every minute of his celebrations! He said to me (after the crowd sing along) "Mommy this is the best Birthday of my whole life, thank you mommy, thank you"! Well if that dont just melt your heart, only in Disney!
We all rode everything (no Dark rides for Dalton)The only really long line we encountered was Splash Mountain, for the time of year we went the crowds were really not that bad! We had a blast, rode lots, drank alot of water, :drinking1 seen shows, got autographs it was great time had by all..........Then it was dinner time, Chef Mickeys on Thursday Night and Crystal Palace friday yep you gussed MIL showed up, I was hoping she would get lost on the way, but no such luck!!! :ssst: It wasnt bad we all just kinda ignored her sighing and hissing and ate and had a great time. The kids loved these meals, :teeth: we all did (well most of us) then it was back to the parks to ride more, get more autographs and cap it all off with wishes!!!! What a show, I loved it, we all did! its AMAZING!

Saturday was our "go your way day"
My hubby, son and SIl (yes SIL) went to Magic Kingdom~ Dawn and Dalton went to Epcot~ My mom, Myself, Ron and Lexi went to World Showcase oh yeah and MIL..... yep the hotel! :faint:
We all had a great day. I love the world showcase, its not my hubby's favorite and my son wanted to ride so it all worked out well. We(me, mom , ron, lexi) had lunch in mexico and dessert in France I just cant get enough of the world showcase!
The group :chat: met up in the evening at Downtown Disney for a dinner at Rain Forest Cafe to eat and talk about there day it was a good time, MIL :headache: and SIL didnt show up, Oh well
Sunday our last day~
We(except MIL and SIL) went back to downtown disney for last minute shopping and lunch at earl of sandwhich, a nice laid back day with an evening flight home!

We had a great trip, (MIL not included) and cant wait to go back! started planning our Dec 2006 trip as soon as we came home! :earboy2:
My six year old's first trip was magical and he loved it, :lovestruc I love going and have great time all the time, but seeing Hunter falling in love with all just made it so much more....well magical~ :wizard:
Thanks for reading, and I have to say this board is AWESOME :p I learned so much on here before this trip and used so much of the info I got here to help make our trip so magical!! :cloud9:

Thanks for such a great report, so sorry about the MIL. You did just the right thing to put her in her place, just a shame you're tied to her so i guess you will have to speak to her. Better hide this trip report :rotfl:

Enjoy your planning for next year,
Claire xx

Thanks for sharing your trip - and sorry about your MIL ;)

How old is your SIL and MIL!

Thanks for sharing your trip. Not to many people are writing trip reports anymore. I love to read them.

My SIL is 40ish (not excatly sure) and my MIL is 59

We havent seen or spoke with them since weve been back (they live 10min away) If I would have known this I would have taken them years ago! :rotfl:

I loved your trip report. Thanks.

Great report!! I'm with you, don't let your MIL ruin your fun or anyone else for that matter!! I'm in the midst of planning our 2006 family gatherings trip and am kinda scared!!! :scared1: :scared:

quote "We havent seen or spoke with them since weve been back (they live 10min away) If I would have known this I would have taken them years ago!"

I love it and made me laugh. Also the "dont worry you won't be asked". Just classic. rotflmao!!!!

All I can say is that if your MIL and SIL can not take the heat, then do not bring them to Louisiana. It is a steam bake! But, all worth it with LSU football! I can't wait for football or my disney trip!

What a riot of a report :rotfl: Too bad MIL didn't check the weather report YEARS ago in Florida - who would of figured it would be hot in August :sunny:

Sounds like you made the best of it and glad your son had such a great time! Group hug goes out to all in your group who enjoyed the trip :grouphug: and to MIL...well.... :rolleyes1

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for posting.

I enjoyed reading your trip report. It sounds like most of you had a really good time. It also sounds like you planned some cool stuff to do.

Beware the nonvitation. You just never know who'll actually take you up on your invite. Disney World is too important to ruin with sour people. Properly warned ye be.

Tell me, is your mother in law actually Delswife's sister-in-law?
