Since we were up for 20 hours yesterday, we decided to sleep in a bit today. We usually don't spend a whole day at Disney Studios, so we didn't see the need to get there early. I think we got there around 11:00 and we're still able to walk right onto Rockin' Roller Coaster. This was the first time riding this ride and it was awesome! We then did One Man's Dream, Muppets, Backlot Tour, and Little Mermaid before deciding to check out Beaches and Cream @ The Beach Club. We split a chocolate and peanut butter sundae and it was very good. There was a family attempting to eat a kitchen sink, but we weren't there to see if they finished it. Afterwards, we toured the Boardwalk for a bit before heading back to DS for the parade and our Mama Melrose PS. After dinner we shopped for a bit before heading to Fantasmic. We sat for about an hour and a half and ended up with good seats. We didn't mind sitting that long, but it was better than doing the Fantasmic package in my opinion. After the show we headed back to CBR for a dip in the pool, then off to bed.

Tomorrow: Animal Kingdom

Hi again... what don't you like about the fantasmic package?

I don't like having to sit at the far right of the arena. We were able to sit in the middle and relax a little while waiting. The other thing that I heard, but didn't do it to verify, is that you only have certain selections on the menu to choose from since the package is pre-paid. Also, if Fantasmic is cancelled, you don't get your money back. Since Fanatsmic is free, I didn't see a need to pay for a certain selection of food and a bad seating location. It did rain a little that evening with some lightening, but the show did go on. But there was an announcement that the show could be delayed or cancelled due to the weather. I would not be too happy to pay for this package only to have the show cancelled. We did do the package before it was pre-paid, but we just didn't like the reserved seating on the far right side of the arena. I guess this is just a personal preference.

Hi -

Thanx for explaning your point of view :D

When we did the package it was just off the regular menu, I was told if the show was rained out you would get a rain check to come back another night (I know that won't help everyone!)

We sat on the extreme right as you mentioned - the view was fine and it was so nice to ride tower of terror and rock &r ollercoaster (which were deserted) because everyone was packing into the theatre - we walked in a half hour ahead...

I think of the fantasmic package as "time management" -

But you have a good point about just taking a break and relaxing before the show.
