The only things I would not do again were:
Take the girls on any scary rides - the tour through movies with ALIEN!!! UGH I didn't know about that one, but i managed to get them looking down for that. I won't take them back to the Bug 3D while they are young. Won't wait in line for counterservice at noon! We'll do RESERVATIONS all the time when they are this young! I won't leave the ponchos in the room LOL
I won't take the girls back to Animal Kingdom again when they are this young UNLESS we have rented a double stroller and we go VERY early. And we'll stay away from Sully because he scared my girls by pretending to eat them and holding onto my little one and not letting her go (she was only 3, you'd think anyone would realize that a monster holding onto a child and refusing to let her go would make her upset! Grrr..... I was a bit annoyed with Sully...all the other characters were great, though!)

Things I would FOR SURE do again:
Go to the park before it opens for character breakfast. Go back to the park in the afternoon to watch the parade. Go another day and enjoy low lines while everyone else is watching the parade! Eat at all those yummy places again :)
Take advantage of the PhotoPass opps!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We had five full days and we started with Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The man at the front desk (Bob from Ohio) was so kind to us! He really made me feel normal for being so giddy! :thumbsup2 ) He was great and the resort was impressive! We checked out the flamingos, pelican feedings, wild animals on the Savannah, and lobby. So lovely!

We ate at Boma our first night, which was good (although a bit too loud and busy for my taste. I couldn't hear the people I was sitting next to!)
Still, wonderful food choices!

Next morning we made an EARLY breakfast at Crystal Palace, which allowed us some photos of the girls in front of the castle before there were any other people at all! GREAT! We loved the character breakfast and then enjoyed Fantasyland, ToonTown, and Philharmagic. We watched Belle tell a story. It was a lovely day. We had supper at Wilderness Lodge (Artist Point) which was also lovely, and I was glad to see that resort in person!

Next day Animal Kingdom and we soon found out that it's too much walking from point to point and too many little hills for the 3/4 year old and 6 year old. They were disappointed with this park. We did get to see many characters and we went on the Safari. (which we loved). The girls did not like the 3D Bugs Life show because they felt it was too scary (the grasshopper). So that was a bust.
The park, however, was beautiful. As an adult, I could easily spend the day there! We had another wonderful low allergen lunch at Rainforest Cafe (all of our meals were gluten free/dairy free on the trip, and that worked out great the whole time!) Rainforest Cafe took forever, but the girls had fun and we adults just visited. The girls had their little princess toys they purchased before hand, and they played with those at restaurants throughout the trip.
That night we went to Rengetsu in Orlando and played put put golf in Orlando too. Both were fun. (Pirate's Cove)

Next day we started with Mara Breakfast (loved that!) and then on to Bippity Boppity Boutique. The buses were quick and easy for us for our whole trip! We had a car, but opted not to use it! The girls were made up to look like Cinderella and Bella and they loved it. They bought some toys, danced around Downtown Disney, and then we were off to Saratoga Springs to visit with family. Then it was back to Magic Kingdom where we came in at the RIGHT time! We walked in just in time to stop and watch a small parade on Main street and then we walked down the street in time to see the big show at the Castle! What a TREAT that was! And then we had supper reservations at the Liberty Table for Bella's birthday. That was also great! After all of that we stuck around for the Spectro Magic parade and the start of the fireworks (we watched Tinkerbell come down, and then we left and watched the last bit from the bus depo).
A WONDERFUL day and night!

Next day Mara breakfast again, MGM, where we were able to walk onto every ride within 5 minutes (ride/show). That was an easy going last day. We watched shows, met with characters and the girls had a great time at HollyWood and Vine Play and Dine for lunch. The food was fabulous. We played and enjoyed the warm day on the steps under the hat and then we headed back to the resort to travel on home.

It was a wonderful trip!

Nice report. My girls are 12 and 10.. but the 10 year old still hates Bug's Life. Scared her when she was 6 at Disneyland.

Did you just get back? It sounds like you had a wonderful time and very relaxing, didn't seem like you experienced much stress at all, (except for the girls not liking bugs life--heard that before with little ones)

just looked at your food report, that website is very neat! Just wondering if you have Celiac ?? My brother in law and his kids have that.

nice trip report THANKS....really want to try Boma and Jiko so its nice to get some feedback....

Soupy, I'm sure you'll love both places!

ampc - My daughter is suspected Celiac. We did not run the biopsy on her (the only "official" method of testing in our university hospital) because by the time the doctors thought of it, we had already healed her on a gluten free diet, and after 2 years of being sick, there was no way I was going to start feeding her gluten again! So, we opted to just assume she is Celiac, without the actual "proof". As for myself, I have extreme reaction to dairy (have since I was a teenager) and gluten gives me very bad eczema. Not anywhere near the reactions it gives my daughter (she becomes very very sick from gluten). So if we're Celiac or not? I am not sure, but it is in that ballpark. Some sort of family autoimmune deficiency going on there! (my mom, grandma, cousins, etc).

Thanks for the comment on the food site! I am hopeful that it will help others from time to time :)
Warmly,
Laura
