Well with 7.45 breakfast booked our trusty alarm clocks didn't work that well and only woke us up at 7 ish so with myself and two little ones to get ready it was a bit of a rush but we still made it in time to get in the 'on time' queue, not like our friends who didn't change their clocks on their phones! Breakfast was a little dissapointing after last year at sl. No fresh fruit (which i was hoping to nick for in the parks as there's very little healthy snacks about). The rolls were nice, i had ham and cheese and the children were happy with cereal and croissants. We left breakfast glad we booked an earlier time as by the time we came out about 9 the queue was horrendous

We took the lovely walk to the park ! Warning rant coming up ! We had caught the bus last night into the park to be met by impatient animals who wouldn't let you off the bus, i thanked the driver and thought what must he think of the people! We are the furthest away hotel and that was only 10 mins from the village with a 3 year old in tow, the world is getting lazier. Anyway the walk was lovely, the trees at sl were all chaging colour and look spectacular.
We headed into mk and wandered along main st. Then into fantasy land where we timed it well with pluto, eyore and tigger came out so we got some nice picture before the crowds appeared and pushed and shoved. DD had to go back to pluto to give him a kiss
. Then Peter pan and Wendy came skipping past, all we could do was laugh at Peters skipping
!
We went on the teacups, then dh was dragged onto dumbo with ds whilst i went on it's a small world with dd who was in her element
, still singing it now! Me and dh done star tours whilst our friends entertained the kids.
We headed into frontier land where the adults went on pirates whilst i looked after the kids. Got ds pirate medallion from shop. Then had hotdogs in the little stall down a few steps a bit hiiden away when who should come round the corner but Captain jack, he went up to ds took the necklace off and said 'where did you find this treasure' , ds said ' my daddy got it from the shop' then the bottom lip went and he started to cry so Jack said he'll do something he doesn't usually do and give it back. It was a highlight as we had him all to ourselves and he was fab, if i had closed my eyes i would've said it was Johnny! He nearly piched my hotdog too!
Onto the haunted mansion where it was my turn, great as usual, the cm freaked me out and i was waiting for a tap on the shoulder!
Dh and Sharon done the runaway train which was out of action last year, they said it was great and lasted long aswell.
We walked back to the hotel to get showered and changed then walked back to enjoy tea at Anettes diner which we hadn't eaten at before. We were pleasantly suprised and it was the only half board deal that included a beer instaed of a soft drink which was a bonus. I had the eurochick burger (burger menu only on half board deal) Which was a chicken burger and very nice
. Nice touch also was the kids menu folded into a car and their plate was a frisbee that they could take. Under 3's didn't go free here, only in the parks we were told but dd's only cost 9 euros so we didn't mind. Kids loved it when the loud music played and everyone was clapping. Ds fell asleep before we left so he went in the buggy and dh carried dd who also fell asleep on the walk back...
