Just got back last night, decided to head back a little early.

We had a great time. We went to Garden Grill for Thanksgiving dinner and really enjoyed the meal and the interaction with the characters. It was our very first character meal ever, and DD is 16 yo. :o Even though we were basically 3 adults, the characters did stop by and Chip & Dale both kissed mine & dd's hands. Our server was very pleasant and made sure we had plenty to eat. DH & I both had wine and I really enjoyed the glass I had. DH tried the Fess Parker Chardonay (sp?). He enjoyed it too. I just had a Beringer White Zinphandel, but it was a very nice tasting one.
While at Epcot, finally got a chance to see the henna painting. I had a design done on my hand. DH was a little surprised to find out it can last up to 5 weeks. But as I said to some one later, it's a way to have a tat, without it being permanent. In fact got a few compliments on it. But Chip (or was it Dale???) played like he was going to rub it off.

We missed getting on to TT and MS, but figured we would be back another day.

We did Universal on Friday (11/28) and since we aren't big roller coaster fans (Hulk etc) we didn't stay too long at IOA, but went to US only to find wait on rides over 60 minutes. Called it an early day and said if we got a chance would go back.

Saturday (11/29), EMH at MGM so we made sure we got there early for that . Had breakfast at Starring Rolls after doing ToT and RRC. I actually went on it again after saying I wouldn't. It was a really cold day and we ended up heading to the stores to find hats for DD & I. We went to see the Haunted Mansion set at 10 when it opened. Later we went for drinks at Francisco's at our resort CS.

Sunday (11/30) we went to MK. We got there and I was able to get pics of all the 75 Mickey's. I haven't looked at them yet, but will post a link later of the pics. Most I did as groups of two, but did take singles of certain ones that I really wanted. DD is in the Technology Academy at her high school and so we got a pic of her with the Technology Mickey by Jamie Lee Curtis. She wants to take a picture of the Mickey to school for her teacher. We had a nice time that day. Went back to the resort for a short break before going to MVMCP. We got just as they were doing the opening ceremony for the party. We headed straight to Exposition Hall for our pins. We purchased the set of 12 framed pins and were also able to get the passholder pin for Xmas and they were selling passholder pins from MNSSHP too. Everyone we met that night seemed to go out of their way to help us. We were going to go to the HM when we decided to get some hot chocolate, I saw what I thought was the place to get it, but it was where they were taking the photo. We walked right in and got our pic done. So we went on to HM and when we came out went to Columbia House for Hot chocolate & cookies.
We got on to Buzz in less than 10 minutes, were headed to SM when I stopped to see the show. We had never watched the holiday show, so it was a nice treat. Then we hit SM and got right on.

Went to Animal Kingdom on Monday (12/1) and just had a lazy day there. When we came back to the resort, the surprise I had bought my DH had arrived. He was surprised and couldn't believe I had done it. DD & I had surprised him on Thanksgiving, by telling him we had booked a sleigh ride for us on the 1st. So that evening we got ready and headed to WL for our sleigh ride. We got there a little early and had a look round the lobby at all the decorations. Then we went outside to wait for our ride. The couple who took the sleigh ride before us also reads the Disboards and remembered seeing that we were going to have the 7 pm ride, so asked if we posted on the boards. We were able to talk for a minute. It was a beautiful, but crisp night. I had come prepared with a warm jacket, and they provided a quilt for our laps. After our ride we went back into WL and looked at the shop, DH bought DD & I both a Mickey Bear. I now have 3, plus a Christmas Mickey Bear, and DD has two. Unfortunately for me, I was already coming down with a cold. By Tuesday morning, I was feeling miserable.

Tuesday (12/2) we decided to go back to Epcot and try and hit any thing we had missed before. DH went on MS and was not impressed by it. Says RRC has more G-forces to it. While he was on that DD & I got FP for TT. We looked around the MS store and then walked over to TT to wait. When we got there, we ran into a friend from my DH's shop. DH didn't even know that they were going to be down at the same time. Talked to them for a minute, then it was time for them to go on TT. After that we walked around the WS and checked out things we had missed on Thursday. We did go into the Stave Church at Norway on Thursday and was taken back by the history of them.

We decided to head for home on Tuesday evening instead of waiting for Wednesday morn. Especially since my cold was getting worse.

All in all, we enjoyed our trip and the resort. We stayed at the CS in Casitas 2. We were a short walk from El Centro & the Pepper Market. On Fri night we did take a walk around the resort, and to have a look at the Dig site. Our room was right near the quiet pool in the Casitas. In fact, we could look out and see the quiet pool and the lion fountain. I meant to take pictures, but realized as we were leaving that I didn't take one.

Wonderful trip report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Sounds like a perfect trip even if you had to cut it a little short - thanks for posting!

We were at Magic Kingdom on Saturday Nov. 29...It was cold. We had jackets but the wind cut right thru them. By the time we got home my youngest daughter and myself had sore throats and my oldest daughter was throwing up!!! We enjoyed our trip but wish it had not been so cold. We will be back in July...bet it is not cold then!

Here is a link to the pictures we took of the 75 Mickey Statues. Some of my favs I took an individual one of them. On the majority of them, I took them in groups of two.

Most came out pretty good, considering it was first thing in the morning and I ended up with the sun reflection on some shots.

Hope you like them.
