So I went down to DL for the day with a couple of friends from high school. It was my first trip ever in September but my second during "Halloweentime". Here are just some thoughts on my day yesterday:
-Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy = amazing! Usually on Space I know all of the turns and which way that I'm going. With all of the new projections, I had no clue which way I was going which added to the fun of the ride. It was pretty scary but I like that kind of scary. Loved the music! Rode it twice with FP (yikes the line was super long at around 10:30PM)
-Haunted Mansion Holiday: I liked the new stuff that they put in, especially the floating Leota. Good changes!
-Crowds: Non-existant until later. We got there pretty late (for me lol) at like 10:30AM. But we still got 18 rides done plus Fantasmic and RDCT in about 12 hours. The lines for major rides didn't build until mid-afternoon (except Splash because it was HOT yesterday!!!). But the 9:00 Fantasmic was more packed than I've seen in a long time.
-While we were walking through Sleeping Beauty's Castle Walkthrough we saw someone propose!
It was pretty cool!
-Hadn't been on Snow White in at least a year. I like the subtle new changes. Very nice.
-Got Level 5 on BLAB for the first time ever! 309K
-Supposedly the final animatronic on Indy is new, but it looked just about the same to me.
-Big Thunder Mountain was having breakdowns all day.
