We will be traveling to Disney Friday, Nov 11th thru Saturday Nov 19th. We will drive the night on the 11th so we will not arrive until 10ish Saturday morning. My husband will likely need to sleep after arriving as he will drive most of the way. We also will be driving the night of the 19th and so my husband will need to nap probably around 2.

It will be me, husband, 8yo son, 5 yo daughter, 19mo old son, and my mom and her husband will be joining us Monday evening. We want to have 1 day free to go to the Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach. We will be staying off site.

I've attached my TP crowd tracker. We do not plan on visiting DHS and only plan on5 day tickets at this point. How would you schedule your trip if you were me?

Overall, crowd levels are pretty low. I would suggest;

Saturday as a rest day. Maybe swim, look at a resort or two, Chip and Dale's campfire (free unless you buy the smores kits) and/or Disney Disney Springs.

Sunday the MK. It closes a little early, but I like to there early in a trip. (I am assuming no PHs and 2 days at Epcot and two at the MK)

Epcot Monday

Animal Kingdom Tuesday

Wednesday Cocoa

Thursday Epcot

Friday the MK

You and the kids could go to any park Saturday for about $30 total by adding a day.

This is pretty much the exact trip I planned. I was just unsure if we should do 2 days at MK or 3.
Do you think it would be too much for the kids to add another day? Both my husband and mom think even 5 days is too much and would prefer 3 or 4 days only. I'd prefer more days and not worry about having to go full throttle to try and see everything. We will not have park hoppers.

Thanks for your help! If I decided Friday they could handle another day, I'd be able to add that then right?

You can just see how much your family enjoys Epcot and decide to change that Thursday to the MK. The park is scheduled to close really early (I would keep checking on that) which will drive away a lot of people.

You may find your kids don't want to see all of the films and exhibits which would rule out a second Epcot day.

I would definitely add another day. Kids seem to have more energy at Disney. We call Disney Legs.

Hi @Momto3:2016! We are going the exact same dates (well, we're leaving on the 20th, but who's counting?)! I *highly* recommend adding park days - but you can always add days to your tickets when you are there! It's relatively inexpensive and I think will add to your enjoyment. Are you staying on property? Have y'all been to WDW before? It seems like maybe you haven't? There is SO much to see and do, and one of the "problems" with going in the fall is that the parks are just not open that late. And, if you need to take a mid-day break for naps, you end up with even less time. If you add a day or two, you won't feel as rushed.

The first year we went, our boys were 12, almost 8, 6, & almost 4 (their birthdays were like two weeks away). The first couple of days we would head back to our condo around 3 or 4, and everyone was so tired, we didn't make it back to the park. But then, everyone kinda got their "sea legs" and we were able to rope drop, come back at lunch and rest an hour or so and go back to the parks. A "rest" day was a must (we went to the water park). We never regretted having 8 days - there was plenty we didn't do - and no one ever got overly tired.

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you all have a wonderful time!

Thanks! I'd love to add on extra dates, however everyone else is against that. I've been many times as a child/teen, but we have only been once with the kids. That was in 2013, so I know a lot has changed. We will be staying offsite and plan to just let the baby nap in the stroller/carrier.

I took another look at our schedule today and I have:

12th- Arrive 10ish - rest & get groceries
13th- MK 9-7
14th- Kennedy Space Center/Epcot (if we do 2 days at Epcot)
15th- MK 9-7/Kennedy Space Center( if we do switch the 14th to Epcot)
16th- Epcot 9-9
17th- Non Park Day- I'm inking we visit some resorts and Disney Springs
18th- MK 9-7
19th - Animal Kingdom 9-6, but we will probably leave araround 4ish so my husband can nap before we start the drive back home

I wish we could keep the kids out of school a couple of days more, but they will already be missing 5 days for this trip.
