Booked my stay at the fort for March 2012 few weeks ago. Been trying to plan the trip there and back and today I nailed down one portion of the trip there. Booked the last remaning spot at Henderson Beach State Park.
That was one thing that the wife and I wished we would have done differently from out last trip. We love Destin and we wanted to plan some extra time on the drive down to stay there for longer than a few hours as a sleep stop.
Still need to find one more stop for the trip down and a stop for the return trip.
Seems odd to be planning this far ahead but spots book up so fast that you have to.
If anyone has any good spots in the North Little Rock area that the could pass on I would appreciate it.
