Hi Natalie :wave2:

One thing you need to remember, is that for the first few days, you (and especially the children) will be suffering from jet lag! That means you will be up with the larks, but at 6pm you will all be flagging.

For this reason I would STRONGLY suggest swapping your itinerary and moving all those late fireworks shows to later in the holiday, and not try and do them in those first few days. The kids will thank you for this. For them to manage Fantasmic (9pm start?) on day 2 where 9pm will still feel like 2am UK time to them. Believe me, weve tried it and it doesnt work!! Ours were nodding off at at 5pm dinner at Boma on our first day...a complete waste of money!

You will up very, very early those first days, so make the most of getting to parks at opening time...you will enjoy most of the big attractions without lines and its a great way to start the holiday!

Jet lag is usually gone by day 3 or 4 so start the later things then. Where are you staying and how long are you going for?

Allie

hiya
i think i am guilty of fitting in EVERYTHING!! lol

we are staying at la quinta inn lakeside and are only in florida for 1 week
HOWEVER the 2nd week we are relaxing on a beach in the bahamas so i was sort of hoping that would make up for me marching everyone round the parks so fast (hehe)

we could do wishes on the last day (tues) i suppose

Have to agree with Allie. We were far too tired for Illuminations at Epcot on our first day.

Julie

hi, same with us, up like larks first few days, in parks by 8.30. came to a grounding halt on day three, totally disneyed out! only an afternoon by the pool and early evening shopping for therapeutic reasons could save us! have a great trip.

Hya

Kinda agree with Allie on the amount you are doing on your 1st day. It may be worth taking it easy on that day until about 2ish and then go to MK. Let the kids sleep in in the morning and if you stay for Wishes you'll still get a good 7-8 hours in the park (plus you'll have some time on your last full day to cover the bits you missed.

Hope you all have a great time

Rich

Natalie, Illuminations is a must do! If you can squeeze it in then do :)

oh no !!! what i really need is to extend our stay by 3 mths to fit everything in i want to see

I would absolutely agree with Miffy2003 - Illuminations is fantastic. We go every time we're there. Try to miss out something else rather than Illuminations - although I can't think what to miss out as I love everything Disney!

Ha ha! Natalie now can stalk you my party land on the 4th Nov!!:hyper:
Might see you there! Make sure you wear your green Dis Ribbon!:teeth: ::yes::

What's the Green DIS ribbon?

Is it so whoever's out there from this site at the same time can spot each other?

That's a good idea.

Might have to get one before I go.

x

hey thanks for the reminder,i have not sorted my lime green ribbon yet:bounce: its on my list now tho
i hope i do see someone:D
