DD and I had a lot of fun last night for our little Halloween party. She was able to change her hours at work and got off at four, so we were able to keep all our original plans.
We watched movies and I made some fun foods!
We watched:
"Don't Bother To Knock" with Marilyn Monroe. What a great movie. Not a horror, but definitely disturbing. She was just brilliant in it. Every parent's fear of the crazy babysitter!
"Double Double Toil and Trouble" starring the Olsen Twins when they were tiny little girls! It was DD's favorite when she was little and we just laughed all the way through it, although I have to admit, a few scenes are sorta creepy! Big fun.
"The Blair Witch Project" YIKES! That is such a scary movie! You really get pulled into the documentary of it and the ending is one of those things that you just can't get out of your system!
We munched on a Halloween mixture of popcorn, candy corn, an Autumn mix, Reeses Pieces and M&M's. Super yummy with the salty and sweet!
Then it was time for dinner! This is Kraft Dinner, but with my own special added Halloween twist.
After dinner was our dessert -- one of those big bakery chocolate chip cookies!
And here is a peek of my scary shirt!!
We had a lot of fun and at midnight we were able to say:
WE GO TO DISNEY THIS MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
