Oh good, I'm not crazy and Mardi Gras has been in March!!

Sorry you are still fighting that migraine. My GF takes a pill called Maxalt (sp?) when she feels a migraine coming on. She usually starts off with half a pill because it is a very expensive drug, even with insurance. Have you ever heard of it?

I know you are sick of the cold, but would you believe we got up to 80 deg. today? That is not bragging, that is complaining! We will have that - and worse - soon enough. Can we please have a little more winter? I'd like to live somewhere where there are 4 seasons!

It has actually lightened up a bit this evening. Nope, never heard of that pill...I've never gotten a prescription for the migraines though, an excedrin usually takes care of it.

Actually it was 60 here today. And is going to be again tomorrow! Very warm for January. But of course it is raining like crazy!!

Yes we do NEED to move to FL. I will be so jealous of DH when he is there in the warmth and I am freezing here!!!!!

We are going down for April vacation. I'm using the flights from July b/c we'll be driving down then.

Okay so it's Bored To Tears Tuesday....

which shan't be confused with a 'FOF', which is really fun yet insane, and can only occur once before any given trip--- meaning every other Friday of the calendar year is a Not-so-Fun Filled Friday.

Tomorrow will be What-shall-I-Do Wednesday, Followed by a There-I-Cleaned-it Thursday.... and then comes the dreaded Not -So-Fun Filled Friday again.

Yes I'm rambling.

Guess I'll go get groceries.
Maybe something there will make me not so bored. A sale in the produce section maybe????

Are you referring to spraying a little pledge or actually cleaning? I thought of you yesterday. It was a snow day, my kids were home, none of my daycare kids showed and I was so lazy! About 15 minutes before DH was due home I did a quick de-clutter and turned on my Scentsy candle so it smelled good. I'm all out of pledge. He thought I had a productive day.

Yo man will think you cleaned all day if you spray some pledge around and sweep a bit and de clutter for, like, 5 minutes.
When in all reality what you REALLY did was watch Days of our Lives and DIS. Shhh. I'm bad.

Of course, your house has to be somewhat clean for it to work, I can't make promises to ya if you have stuff sticking to the walls from three years ago and junk.




Okay, Shelly---- you feeling better today?? I'd tell you to drink wine for medicinal purposes but it's a little early yet.
And I think we won't have a boring day today on this What Shall I do Wednesday if you will give us an update.

I don't want to have to go to the produce section again bc the young fellas that work in there might think I'm stalking them between the bananas.

Well, Jodi, it looks like we are the only ones here today. Shelly must be feeling better and maybe working today! Doesn't help our boredom, does it? But I do hope your headache is gone, Shelly!

I am supposed to be cleaning my house today. I did go for my walk and then a couple of stores (Dillard's extra 30% off) Wal-Mart (why do I do that to myself?) and Target (that's more like it!). But as you can see, I am not cleaning now that I'm home and able to.

DH went hunting today and is coming back Friday. That should give me plenty of time to clean at a leisure pace and have plenty of time for the DIS, WWF, and TV.

It is really gloomy here today, and 30 degrees colder than yesterday. Yesterday was 80 and party cloudy, today is 57 and nasty. Crazy weather. I did ask for more winter yesterday, though. So I'm with it!

I see things were a bit wild and crazy in here today!! While I was hard at work!

So what's up??? Any good produce sales?? Anything good on TV?? Did everyone do nothing all day and then make it appear that they had been cleaning all day 5 minutes before their DH got home??? And here I thought I was the only one who did that...

I figured she must be working!

No produce at Wal-Mart - don't trust it. I buy most of my produce at a local fruit/vegetable mart. Sometimes Target, but never Wal-Mart. When I feel really wealthy I go to Whole Foods. Needless to say, I'm not there often.

I love wrestling!! My fav is Hulk Hogan. It's so exciting watching those big hunky guys thowing each other around! So you're not a fan?

We bought that apple TV box ya know, so I'm watching every dang thing on hulu and Netflix i can get my hands on, as well as recording shows on the satellite.

What the heck girl! This is the most boring-est week I've had in a long time and I NEED an update on this TR to pass the time.

It's too cold to check out produce today, okay?!?!








Well, alright then, since you aren't here, I am going to post my latest Story for my own amusement because I still don't understand how it happened. Feel free to follow along if you have nothing better to do.

So last night at 9 I put the kids to bed and went to sleep myself in our bed, leaving M in the media room on the couch watching ESPN.

I'm a little loopy in that in order to fall asleep most nights I scour the television looking for infomercials that are selling those TimeLife music CDs.
What can I say, it makes me sleepy. Not the outcome TImeLife is hoping for I"m sure.

Well last night it was the Country's Got Heart--- Country love songs with John Schneider. Loved me some Bo Duke when I was little. Vroom Vroom.

Anyway, I fell asleep while it was still on and woke up to it going off--- and as I reached down to turn off the tv with the remote-- I could feel my right leg was wrapped around the sheet. When I started to move my leg-- it wouldn't move bc the sheet was too tight around me.
So I'm frustrated bc now I'm awake, and I reach down to yank it from around my legs when I realize that my leg is actually UNDERNEATH the bottom, fitted sheet.
What the ever loving heck???

So I flip the covers back and sure enough, from my toes to my hipbone were inside of the bottom sheet, lying beneath it next to the mattress pad.

There obviously was a hole in my dang sheet and my foot somehow in that huge dang King sized bed with me in the middle of it, found that itty bitty hole and shoved my whole dang leg into it.

I mean really, what the heck.

And before any of you say I must have some raggedy toenails to have done such a thing--- I just had a pedicure about a week ago and the polish isn't even chipped on it.

I honest to goodness don't know how it happened.

I told Belle this morning and she said "Dang Mom, must have been some dream you were having".

I'm blaming it on those darn Duke Boys.

But nope, no work today and I am here!! Just being lazy this morning. I need to go get some groceries, but it looks so cold and nasty out there.

After our long bus ride back to the GF we were ready to get off that bus and do something fun!! The skies were dark though and we weren't sure if we were going to make it to the pool or not.

I'm not quite sure what look the kids were going for here......sophisticated maybe...

We stopped by the front desk to see if our delivery had arrived and they said no. So we started to walk away and they yelled for us and said – he was just here, we have your delivery! So we grabbed that and headed back to our building.

When we got to the SL lounge they were serving Afternoon Tea (served 2:30-4) ~

I don't drink tea, but the scones sure were delicious!

And here is the crappy little curling iron I got!

Not quite what I'm used to, but it would have to do. This curling iron is $5 in WalMart. Between what I paid for it and delivery charges I have $20 invested in mine!

After our little afternoon snack the boys got changed into their swimsuits and we headed out to the beach pool. On the way down in the SL elevator a woman says to me – this is going to sound weird, but are you on the DIS??? You're Momof2disneyboys aren't you??? It was DISer Blueskies!! I had not previously met her on the DIS, but she had come across a few of my reports in the past. We had a nice chat and walked all the way to the main building together chatting way! Then she headed in and we headed onto the pool. The kids said they felt like celebrities!!

So we get to the pool and the place is practically empty! It had cooled off some by now and it not near as warm as it was the day before, but it wasn't exactly cold either. So DH and I grab a couple of lounge chairs and have a seat. DS11 comes over and takes his shirt off and I yell – WHAT IS ALL OVER YOU??? He appeared to have a rash all over his chest and back. That wasn't there the day before and I was starting to freak out. What could it be?? I hadn't switched detergents. Was it something in our room? Something in his sleeping bag? Something he ate? WHAT??? So I take a pic and text it to Jodi and wait on a reply. And as soon as my phone beeps it hit me – he was having an allergic reaction to the Amoxicillin he had been on. Sure enough that's what her text said. I am allergic to Penicillin, but he never had been. Plus he had been on the meds for a week at that point. So strange that he would have a reaction now.

I told him to go ahead and go swimming and that no one would notice. There were less than 10 people in the pool anyway. But he was embarrassed. So he just stayed in the water and wouldn't get out to go on the slide. He didn't want the other kids to see it. Little did we know at that point that the rash was VERY mild compared to what we would see in the days to come.

So the kids get in the pool and DH & I finally get all settled in for some relaxing and what do you know this guy comes rolling up on his scooter and parks it RIGHT BESIDE me. I am not kidding you, there was barely another sole in the entire pool area and he parks it right next to us. DH and I laughed so hard!! In-fact DH had to have a picture!

Him and his wife stayed for about 20 minutes I suppose and then eventually left and we got to enjoy a little quiet time! And then it started raining on and off. It really wasn't a great day for pool time! But we stuck it out.

This is what I could see from my chair ~

Lots of noisy DVC construction! Every time the crane was about to lift something, someone up there would blow a very loud whistle.

DS13 enjoyed the slide!

Still no beach access.

Headed back to the lounge chair and DH was doing something for work!

The skies were still pretty dark and it was still raining on and off, so after awhile we headed back to the room.

This is the new Alice in Wonderland water play structure. It is pretty close to the beach pool and is very loud.

Shelly your poor DS I an allergic to pennicillian and amoxicillin gave me a rash once too stupid me to have taken it.

Your pics of the GF construction has me starting to rethink my request for our Poly stay, I have decided on Fiji and thought 1st floor on the Luau Cove side would be a nice view from pics I have seen since you can see the GF and the Wedding Pavilian but now also the construction and cranes not to mention possible noise.

Can't wait to read more!

How fun that you were recognized on the elevator! So far I have never met up with anyone whose reports I was reading or vice versa because our trips never seem to line up exactly. I bet your boys were loving that!

How awful for DS to have an allergic reaction ever, but on vacation in Disney World is even worse! I guess this is where the second call to that delivering pharmacy will come in...

Kind of funny about that guy at the pool, but so weird! I had to laugh at your DH's picture of the event.
