Do you ever get the Disney trip insurance? I was just wondering, we have never gotten it. Is it worth it? If you decline it ,can you call back later and add it to your reservation? What are the covered illnesses? Sorry, for all the questions

I'm hoping someone here knows the answers.;)

I don't know much about it, but it was included in my reservations. It must be included in the FTP 'cause I didn't ask for it. The name of it is Insure America. They charged $34.95 each for DH and I for a total of $69.90.

It's added to all WDTC packages unless you say you don't want it. They don't ask whether or not you would like it.

We had it twice, didn't need it but actually had two close calls so the peace of mind was worth it to me. First time we barely got out of Detroit between a big blizzard (24 in. snow! ) and another substantial snow storm! The second time my 6 year old got sick (ear and sinus infections) 48 hours before flying, fortunately we got a few doses of antibiotics in him and he was a trooper! Not sure I will go for it this year as my kids are older and have out grown some of that. Snow can still be an issue though.

Thanks, we are going in September,so, I'm actually worried about hurricane season  .I didn't book our room yet ,because, I wanted to consult with the experts ;) I think I'm going ahead with the insurance, just for the peace of mind.I honestly love the Swan and Dolphin cancellation policy ,much more flexible :(
